2 items that I view as important but often get ignored in these debates are the unseen infrastructure necessary to succeed (database, offsite tools, etc.) and the involvement of American D1 and D2 managers in owning and finishing the training of NT players.

For Falke and Bob, how are we doing in these 2 areas and what will you do to improve infrastructure and to encourage more involvement from high-level managers? What other issues do you see as important to NT success that are often left unspoken in these debates?
We do have the resurrected database now, so the challenge for the new coach will not be creating infrastructure but figuring out the optimal way to utilize it. I have some rough ideas on how to get from data to scouting and gameplanning, but it will be (as new processes inevitably are) a bit of trial and error until it smooths out.

Falke is spot on as far as needing to have a bit of dialogue on the front end with managers who show interest in having NT players in order to see about matching a potential selling owner to a manager and not waiting for the TL to just happen. Sorry to just steal his answer, but it's the right one. In addition I'd say my experience in the top league has been that folks are generally very cash poor, and aiming this dialogue to ascending D2 teams could sometimes be easier to find people able to take on a NT prospect.

So, my question to all candidates is:
Are you willing to be a failure in the eyes of the public to enable a better good for the future of the NT?
Lol, absolutely. USA is probably not getting a Worlds medal the next few go a rounds. We don't have the goods. What I hope to accomplish is setting us up for success down the line. That's a rub with NT, what a manager does now effects what managers have 3-4 terms later. My definition of success as NT coach is the baseline for any job: leave it better than I found it.

We do? I would be interested to see it play out. Maybe we can eventually match China efforts. Or is that too far fetch?

You still think America players are better and that is why your track record doesn't prove that your a consistent winner.

Alright, it’s time something is said by someone with US NT experience....

Is our team a poor version of where we were , let’s say, 10 seasons ago?? You bet your bottom it is. When we lost our database it was two steps in the wrong direction. We were headed in the right direction, for world domination, until all our tools went down and people lost focus. We had NBBA managers, that owned several players, quit or decide to do total rebuilds. The two faces of the NT, in JFarb and Magiker started signing in less and less and began to be separated from the NT. We lost our drive as a community to move forward as it took so long to get to that first World Gold.

Let me tell y’all something though- we CAN get back to that place. We can be a winning culture like we used to be, but that doesn’t just lie on the shoulders of the NT manager. No, that lies on the shoulders of YOU, the voter. Let’s be honest, and I don’t want this to sound the wrong way, but a vote for a foreign manager is just another step in the wrong direction. When YOU voted Sahand in, YOU continued to support the constant slide to nothiness on the NT scene. Let’s stop this slide and join together to create that world dominance we were so close to.

This job is going to take more than a competent NT manager. It is going to take YOU as the community to come together and help this club get back to its old. It is going to take YOU training USA players so that we can continue to hold our players at home rather than give them over to foreign managers for nothing. It will take YOU joining the discussions on Discord on tactics and training and trying to figure out where we go from here.

All I ask is that YOU, the voter, truly ask yourself if your vote is to throw away another two years and continue to accept the slide, or are YOU going to make a difference for the community and NT and vote for a new beginning. Vote American and we will begin to get back to where we once were, but with a new vision in mind and new managers. So come on y’all, let’s go have some fun and start some new glory days.

I believe Sahand was a step in the right direction. Our Under21 vote was not however. Of course Jkal had the best scouting probabilities and probably help the most people when he really shouldn't be just take a look at his team history haven't even made it out of modern division IV era.

It just goes to show you that we are taking the cookie cutter way possible, to make sure the ones who are in on the club are the ones who benefits the most. If you don't believe me I been on the other side of this for 20 seasons and was suppose to be in Nick position right now as I was suppose to be in the NBBA at this current moment with my first team the Unc Tarheels who was a dominant division 5 team when it was a full division.

The way to beat out this process is by looking at the way the game should go is the long term way. Because about 99% of the people who started playing this game at 11 years old and or teenage years goes to college the 1% of people don't unless its for promotion.

I have taken the most bans for being the opposition at one time I envision us changing the rules so that we can get our team back on track to be dominant. The mistakes Marin has made over the years is really causing us to change the game now and forever will be changing the minor issues just not the engine.

I have 21 seasons 3 under 21 players coached. I have a division 5 championship, a division IV runner up trophy, I have the best record in pre and modern division 5 history and I have the best record in division IV history soon to come. It just goes to show you how bad the cookie cutter approach is and that is why we need change.
