Comments from the Coach Jinx:

I was feeling pretty good about this game, despite not having our starting SG (Donny Hardman) who's been out for over a week and a half now. Unfortunately The Trees are a really good team that has had our number for years now, it also didn't help that we lost our starting Center in the first quarter either. It is really unfortunate that we're losing players coming down the stretch.

The Trees have a great coach and a great team, it also helps when you're playing at home. We'll bounce back but this one stings as well as the Lighting game. We'll rebound and get through this hopefully. This was a tough game throughout and the better team won.

I knew this conference was very physical and so far we have lost 2 starters in inter-conference play. Antoine Moreau was forced into the lineup and played well against a good team. We'll continue his growth going forward and hopefully he's that KEY piece we need to contend year end and year out.

We are now headed back to our home to take on the LA Triads, hopefully we can rebound from this loss and put another win on the board. The game will be winnable we just have to execute. We have the capability to make it happen because nobody can play "Above the Rim".

I guess I really am from Chicago, one of my bench guys got injured and if you see my stats, he was probably the only guy that got off the bench and actually did things. As in the words of Coach Thibs from the Chicago Bulls "We have more than enough, but we probably won't beat anyone else after Saturday's game." Well, he didn't say that but we are all old enough in age, y'all get the point. Another man down and the next man up.

Time to get WILD.

Comments from the Coach Jinx:

"I'm not sure Chuck I have mixed emotions about this game. I worked the guys pretty hard all week in preparation for this game against the Triads only for them not to show up. I don't think it's fair but all week can do now is give the guys the night off and get back to work."

"I guess a win is a win... but nobody can play Above the Rim."

A lost is a lost, but the way you lose is key to whether you can come back and finish the season. 8-4, still sitting good in the 3rd seed. Tomorrow, I promise you up to God, something is going down in the forums on my behalf. You're welcome.

Comments from the Coach Jinx:

"It's a good thing that this Great 8 tour is coming to an end. You never know what you're up against on any given night with these teams. The Waughoos played a great game tonight that team will only get better. I wish the guys would have put a little more into it tonight but like they said "You told us to take it easy tonight coach."

Our next game is against an up and coming BuLLeTZZZ team that I'm sure will be chomping at the bit to take us down. We'll work a little more chemistry in that game to prepare for my up coming matches.

Can't wait for the "Allstar" break my guys definitely need it. Also it'll give them a chance to show their skill during Allstar weekend. They'll have fun because nobody can play Above the Rim."
