Hi Skyhookz

i am only making $160K for each homegamem with a 17k profit each week

i think the 8 players i have can carry me for now, but ideally i would like to have a bigger arena and 2 more decent players, but with the draft coming up later on, i will obtain a couple of young players anyway

i am training gameshape each week. i had a GUN rookie (stephen gray) that i sold last season for 2 Mil, and he was probably the best young 18 year old in the country, but i couldnt be bothered training him no more, so decided to go nuts on some good players to get the promotion to div 3.

i need some money!!!

i think if i can topple tate at his home court on tuesday, i may just get through the finals unscathed

i was doing the same thing till recently, only making 17k per week, but i sold 90k worth of salary to clear it, so now making well over 100k per week! nice little investment with a $2m player :D

i think u can do it, but tate could have the $$ to deny you promotion!

nice work getting to the top of div 3 in ur first season there :D

Your best chance is to not CT, at least that way you can hope and pray that your enthusiasm is high enough that you mount some resistance... Soo unlucky champ to lose your centre, fingers cross he sells and you can get another, either that or you get a cheap old guy to try and fill his boots!

BTW gent WOW on the gladiators, granted enthusiasm levels different but holy crap, at Beasts home! Well done Bains, unlucky Neebs, valiant 4th performance until Len put on an Offensive foul after stealing the ball with 3 secs to go, Garrie then sunk both FTs so the result could have gone to OT..

finally broken the beasts drought!!!!

Snazman came up big for me. that was where i thought i was going to get beaten.

good to see Garrie come up clutch at the line.

to be honest i didnt think i could win especially at the Tony Memorial Stadium. couldnt be happier with the result.

To be honest dude I don't think anyone thought you could at Beasts home.. Having said that I don't think he will be greatly concerned, Neebs keeps his enthusiasm and now Wags is the one who will have to be on alert. Let's face it, no one on the red side is going to beat me from here on in with my expensive roster, only a couple of teams on the Blue to worry about and I have pretty much sewn up HCA for finals!

You still have time champ, you have exactly 7 hours :) Hey, you still have a couple of weeks left before the finals.. The way I see it you have made an amazing place to get where you are in 2 seasons anyway bud, hey, if it doesn't fit don't stress.. Some of us guys have been in DIII for 4 or more seasons, granted ours is particularly tough! Hey if it doesn't fall, start to rebuild :))

in the middle of the table, i am more than happy to go 2 games clear of spartans, but more importantly 180 points difference between us..

i got the beasts next, an absolute loss, the challenge there is keeping the loss to 20-30 points at the most.. this season has a loooong way to go yet, except for the botanators!

To be honest roozer, I don't think you're going anywhere right now:

you may be lucky and sell your injured C, buy another half-decent one and go for promotion. However there is no way you could handle a div 2 with that roster, you would be bound to take the lift straight back to div 3. With the risk of landing in a tougher one (3.16 is really easy from what I see).

You'd better wait a couple of seasons, build up your arena (in order to make that promotion profitable) and train 3 young blokes. If you promote now you won't even be making money with a 7k seats arena. So you'd be stuck between div 2 and 3 for a long time.

Not to mention that you're training game shape on some aging old farts that you'll have to sell for half the price they cost you. That could really drag you down.
