Please, I already warned you to not get into that line of argumentation. You are basically saying that older teams are not allowed to participate in this discussion, since they are just protecting their advantage. That is silly. You do not understand the motivations of others.

This is a legitimate claim, which finds "amazingly" a corelation between two "phenomenons".

But I am very much against resetting the game all the time. This is a long-term game by design. A change you propose (which was flogged to death in the Suggestions forum) would require a huge change to just about everything in the game. You want to remove all long-term planning from the game. That is just not going to happen. Join some other game with a short-term game play.

It's just the same excuse due to the same reasons.
Most of the long-term planing ended for a team started on season-4, about 8 seasons ago.

Threre is no more seats being built.

There is no more new players (draftees) being trained from start.

Long-term planing does not mean that the planing is from here "untill death" (or being bored to death from an uncompetative game).
Reseting every few seasons will make it exiting for those who want a real entertaining and cometative game.

Even a full marathon ends after 42KMs and the new marathon that will starts afterwards is not affected by that one who had ended.

I just gotta say that if you spent half the time you do arguing in hte forums you'd be in D.1 in no time :P

So what you are saying that in germany there was not even a single team between season 5 to season 17 (13 seasons!!!) that had invested time or been good enough, and this is why I didn't find a single team between those seasons on the "great 8" conference in the Bundesliga.

You keep going on and on about one conference in one top division. What about all the other top divisions?

One of the reasons is that Canada is very weak in this game and has only 430 users.
Israel which is a very small country has 915.

How many old teams are part of the canadian BB teams is something that can be verified, but you can trust that this is one of the main reasons.

This will also imply that you will not be able to compete against teams from the same division from larger BB nations.

BTW, you know how did I know that I need to look at this information?
I looked at your TL, and didn't see something that looked like great investments (I mean expensive players and not that you have invested poorly).
Getting to an promoted with that type of players means that the competitors had not been to good.

Believe me that in the end the story will be one of the two stories I've brought at the openning of this thread.

1) A league that conatins only teams from a very old season (like the Bundesliga "great 8").
2) A league where teams from those old seasons just left the game.

In the case of canada I found another "story".
Canada has only 430 active users which is very few.
As such, it is easier to get promoted there to a quite high league in short time.
In addition, it means that those teams will have problem competeing against those who are from the parallel teams in a other BB nations.

My answer will be splitted this time, as I'm gonna go sleep in a short time.
On my second part I'll focus on your league.

This part will be a more general one.

1) I would sugget that you will look on where went the older teams.
You will see that most of the chances is that they just left the game...

2) Will a good manager with more money do much more than one with the same skills but with less money?
The answer and its implications are clear.

3) Does a user who played longer will have more assets (more expensive players, more seats, etc.)?
Easy answer as well.

4) How come the "great 8" conference in the german Bundesliga had not a single team newer than season-4?
Can it be that all the great managers are from those first four seasons and none from the next 13 seasons?
Here the easy answer is no. It happened only due to this great money advantage.

5) Does an older team has a long-term plan (in this system) like a newer user?
No - they already got to their top arena size, they cannot train a fresh player from start, and they have to much money to do that.
There mainly looking for the most expensive players, and just play "eBay game".
Then, they arange the line-up, and here it ends.

6) An asset-reset every few seasons (about 5-6) will make it a more live game and one that will have less users who will leave it.

7) A cap (mainly soft-cap) will make the richer teams pay for their welth and by that the poorer can get closer to them and compete.

8) A sudden carreer-ending-injury, will do something very similar to what I've wrote about the soft-cap, as the richer teams have more expensive players to lose.
