This may have had smallfries listed as the active nt manager, but the reality is that there are 6-7 talent scouts, 2 former u21 managers, 1 former nt manager, and I guess total about 13-14 people involved. I'm not saying join it or else, but if you commit your ideas and aid in tactics to the nt or beginners so that they stick around, then it's easier for me to consider you. At least take a look at it and see what you think.

The whole off-site right now is just another forum with a lot of information as to what we want to do with development of our players and our strategies. There isn't some special pass code to get in, you just sign up and message one of the several people involved as admins to set you up via BB-mail here. That's it. We don't want to openly say "were running Look inside against australia on take it easy" on the forums here because there has to be some gamesmanship.

It's my belief that you look at what you likely need to advance, and you plan for what you'll need to get to that point. You might set aside some enthusiasm in one matchup thats is 50/50 and go in on another one on normal effort thats also close but maybe 55/45. Thats an acceptable risk, but i don't believe in losing any game by trying to misdirect with offenses.

The ability to go perfect is more difficult because in certain situations someone will not think "I need to win gold", they will revise their strategy and say "I need to show my teams progress between now and the last worlds". And so instead of waiting to POCT, they might CT in the season and use up their enthusiasm. Teams that are hoping to win gold cannot afford to CT, and can ill afford 4-5 normal efforts to ensure that every one of those goes to plan, so there's always at least 1 chance for a crazy move to cause an upset.

The key to "making America great again" is for more experienced managers to take more new people in. For every 20 that sign up, 13 will either not login or login 2 or 3 times and quit. 7 will stick it out for at least a season, and maybe only 2-3 stick around long enough to make an impact. We need to buy in to helping people out, whether or not you want to join the offsite yourselves or not doesn't matter. Take them in, show them game-shape, show them enthusiasm management, show them how to best train single position and 2 position training to maximize their talent's growth, show them the importance of building an arena early. It's my contention that people quit because they aren't winning, and if you aren't winning or learning how to win, then the game is less fun. I think we probably have 4 people in the NBBA willing to help right now, and maybe close to 12 from D.II, along with another 10-15 from D.III and D.IV that know a lot but commit to u21/nt development. I think if we could get to 6-7 NBBA, 17-20 from D.II, and 17-20 from D.III and D.IV, we might actually increase the amount of US players.

Tragic has the full support of the GOLDMEMBEAR party.

At the end of the day we need a manager that will win. Winning use to be an American priority, and I think he values victory.
All of the "oh but we were close, and maybe next time" stuff needs to stop.

Haha you make me laugh. When has winning never been a priorty at the NT level? Difference is there's some that understand what we really face and there's others who think this is real life and that the USA NT can blow everyone out.

I just want everyone to know that the Worlds Gold is my number 1 priority, even over my own team success. And I'm not just talking about 1, I want to win multiples. But sometimes, you have to have a period of defeat in order to build yourself up for success. I admitted straight up last election that this team wasn't ready and that I am perfectly fine being the one scrutinized for not winning. Same thing can be said again. Say what you want, when my time as NT manager is done everyone will be happy with where the NT is at, in terms of Gold trophies as well as our pipeline/ depth chart.

And there are some who are deficient tactically. We understand what we really face. That's why we need a manager who can out coach the opponent.

Deficient, eh?

So where were you then in game discussions to offer your tactical expertise when I was practically begging for any type of opinions so that we could have some kind of discussion. I would love to talk all day about EVERYONE'S opinions for every game. Good or bad opinions. Any opinion is welcomed, but yet all of these individuals who don't like that tactics that have been used just can't seem to join in and offer their opinion.

Relax small fry.

I'm simply stating that I believe tragic values winning more. And i whole heatedly believe he could of navigated the final pool of the last worlds. I don't think he would be as predictable as yourself, and I'd like to see someone else get a shot.

Some people are better at building guns. Some people are better at pulling the trigger.

No what it sounds like is that you have some inferiority complex with the Offsite. Just join it and add your talent to our scouting crew, we could use managers like you.

And Dwight Coward, just because you reached the NBBA after double promoting doesn't qualify you as someone who can tactically out think Isaiah. If you want to show your dedication to the NT start by joining the Offsite and adding to the discussion for each of our games, once you prove yourself on that level then you will start to garner the trust of the voting block that decides the next coach.

Isaiah is going to coach another term, it's pretty much inevitable. When he wins, I hope you both will do more than just complain at him and scrutinize from afar. This team will work better when we all work together.

I understand you believe in him, and I am fine with that. I'm just happy you are voting. But please, join in on discussions sometimes because I really do like to hear different angles.
