Drafted him today, unfortunately I'm training guards currently. Keep him home!

Thanks! I think atm we don’t have a real good outside player!

But it changes every season unfortunately!

Ratings, stats and pp100 don't look that bad in terms of shooting %, assists, turnover, steals and defense in general. However, Croatia got 21 offensive rebounds out of a possible 41, more than 50%...not gonna win any game that way, unless you shoot much better than the opponent. I wonder if the high number of fouls is also due to being completely dominated on the boards (ie. fouls on putbacks).

If they had around 25% OR% which is more reasonable, that's 10 possessions switched to us. Given the FG% from both teams that's more than a 20 point swing, so we'd have been neck and neck as the rest of the boxscore suggests. And that's a conservative estimate because if many shooting fouls did come on putbacks, we would have been slightly better off as their FT% was still better than their FG%.

It's really odd anyway, since we got dominated at every position (except maybe C, where it was bad but not completely lopsided) and it seems like Needham was defending the SG which should have resulted in more balance on the (defensive) boards at least at that position. I guess these games are not on neutral grounds.

I agree, we are especially blessed in our PG-SF positions.

We really stole the game against Turkey U21 yesterday!

I saw that, congrats mate! Sadly we couldn't beat Columbia on the road, we gave it our best shot. They are a deceptively tough team having beaten the USA number 5 in the world and Bosnia number 19 already this season. Hopefully we can win our remaining games but we still have a tough game against Australia to come.

I am really sorry for how it has gone with U21 this season guys :/

After the win against Turkey I really thought we had finally a chance to reach the 2nd round but unfortunately our enth hasn’t recovered enough for the last match.

The positive thing is that our roster is always improving the overall skills from one season to the next one

Well that marks the end of the competitive part of this seasons NT campaign, sadly even with the injury we shouldnt have lost that badly, it seems we need to work harder on the future team if we are to compete with teams like Germany.
