1. You would work alone? In your opinion, is that the best way to foster communication with the whole country?

2. What about RL, don't you have some responsibilities? Is 17 too young to manage a team?

1) I would not have any NT staff, like in other countries, or other managers. I would set tactics and make decisions alone. Of course, everyone will be able to advise me, but final decision would be in my hands. :) And I always take full responsibility of my choices. I'll communicate with U-21 coach about players, their training and scouting. Before the game I would write a speeche. If Thailand players ask me why I make this decision I will answer to them.

2) First of all 17 year old boy, is not 10 year old boy. ;) Secondly, age here is not the main factor. I think it's not about the age, it's about tactics, game analysis and etc. And these things is important to me. Not where you from, how old are you or what you eat for breakfast.

Excellent question. I would probably go with Kobe. He has higher defense, while lacking only slightly offensively.

Kobe has 13 OD and 8 ID, while LeBron has 6 OD and 2 ID. I think, while he may be much better offensively, any decent club player would be able to abuse Lebron inside (and out) I would probably play Kobe at SG instead of SF b/c of his 13 OD, but since they are both SF, I would take Kobe. Who would you take (and why)?

Winning is not an option

I'm not saying your wrong, and past results have proved you right, but isn't this a defeatist attitude? What is the point of even running if Thailand can't win?

The point of having a team is to compete and to get experience for the best players in the country whose managers have put in time and effort to train them to a high caliber.

Pragmatism is not defeatism. Never have I not set my best lineup or thrown tactics. The truth is that with less than 4 players with salaries over $20000 it is very difficult to win an NT game.

In two season, Thailand's NT team could improve a smidge with the current U21 players getting full training and getting too old for the U21 squad.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

As I said in my speech, my main skill in this game is - DEFENSE, because offensive wins games, defense wins championships. So I will also take Kobe. Another reaseon why I would choice a Kobe is - potencial. He's only 21 year old, with MVP potencial. Meanwhile LeBron has reached potencial limits.

somdetsfinest, maybe you're right that win many games with Thailand is hard. But this is not Europe where is unbeatable NT like Italy, Spain, Germany and we can battle with all. Especialy when new game engine was instaled. :)

DEFENSE, because offensive wins games, defense wins championships

I disagree. That is true in real life, but in a game dominated by numbers, it only matters what the numbers are and how they are better or worse than the opponent's. Unpredicability wins games, because if you can field a line up that could go outside or inside, the opponant can know which way to focus, and would either have to guess, or go man to man. That is how you win championships. Balance and unpredicability.

Take a look at the rosters of China, Phillipines, and Japan (Nippon) and then take a look at our roster. Even Saudi Arabia has centers with 3x the salary of our big men.

I ask you guys this- A) How many Thai games have you watched an dB) how many Thai players do you keep tabs on? My answers are A) every single Thai NT game ever played and hundreds of Thai div. 1 games and over 30.

Yes unpredicability :D :D And team in II group with unreal big mans and bad guards and same taktic win II without problems and go to the Cup final... :)

In low divisions defense is not important, but in II or I divisions where is a lot good teams is most important thing. That is also actual to the NT. Defense is most important thing and if anyone will vote for me, I promise to them that defense will be our priority.

a) before I decided to run, i watched the ones I thought would be close and after I went a looked at all the ones in the previous two seasons.

b) since its not my responsibility, only a couple. If elected however, I would keep tabs on all the decent players (decent skills, good owners and being trained) but would also ask for your (somdetsfinest)'s help as well as the help of the larger community. If you are elected, I will gladly help you. One person can't do it alone.

Just curious, but who made the cut of the top 5 +5%?
