Hi Yod08!

Your team gave mine a good run in the league last we played.

Judging by your roster, I think all you need is a good PG, your SG position is really strong, and you have the highest PPG player in your team.

Best of luck for the season =)

Question to all, who do you think is the early frontrunner for MVP?

I'd say the way Bradley Pyne is playing, as well as Ciro Brancati, they'd be solid bets, great league stats they're getting. If they can lead their teams to the playoffs I'd say it would be either of them.

We play next.

Let's see if I have any players that are good enough to stop your SG (unlikely)

Last season when we played you won, but I played TIE. We'll see what happens now...

lol,
you deserve it, you played well.
Good luck against your next opponent, they are in div 3 too so you can win that one as well.

Yeah I put my best defender to guard your SG who usually plays as SF and it worked :)
though I must say you were a bit predictable with your tactics.

I've been playing since season 6 and so far I've noticed that training defense in more beneficial than training offense. Just a thought.... what do you guys think?

btw welcome all new teams. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

You can always try using Man to Man defence, since we're a lower league, there aren't too many fantastic outside shooters. At least next season, they should have implemented the boxing out of rebounds, so it might improve things.

Aussie Rules:

I found that defence can be a bit random sometimes. For example you played your best Outside D against Brancati and limited him to 19 points. Yet when I played PP, I stupidly placed my worst OD player on him (he's better now lol), yet Brancati only scored 25, whilst my SG that night scored 28. Strange sometimes...

I think in general the tactic you played was just too strong for a motion offense.

I'm just hoping my injured players are back before my game with you, had 2 of my starters (SG and PC/C) injured in the last week =(
