true enough but beta or not, I still look forward to being able to advance my team ;-) Since this is in fact beta, when it is determined that the product is good enough for a final stage, will the game be reset?

edit: yeah its a bug, when I was outbid for the player, I stayed at 15k available funds, didn't go back to 25k. Bidding isn't the best thing to do right about now.

Opinions are divided on this.

My personal ( ie non dev opinion ) on this is that people should be able to keep the teams they have grown attached to. I've been through at least 2 teams in internal testing and it's a pain to start over. The argument against is that knowledge gained during testing should be enough of an advantage for future battles and everyone should start on an even keel.

I would like to be able to offer users that have helped test this through the bugs some sort of bonus for the pain they endure in this cycle. Especially to people who have been active on the forums and given us feedback. Again, it's only a personal opinion and I can't speak for the rest of the team.

The bottom line ( now in dev mode ) is that no decision has been reached on this and we are likely to put this discussion off for a while until we can scope the advantages.

I suggest we have an open discussion on this topic around mid season, that's the best I can manage in dev mode for the moment.

One of the reasons I asked that question was based on your previous post about beta. Not to order you around or anything but if the game is not being reset then us affected by a bug that can take away 200k of the money we had easily (I'd assume its happened to someone else as well) are put at a very big disadvantage to those not affected. So would it be considered to treat bugs that can influence teams very much in negative way as a bug found in the final version of the game and have some kind of reparation (Not exceeding what we lost of course)?

Can you post a couple of PlayerIDs to players who you've been outbid on that still are on the transfer list?

Here's a player that I bid on, and now 54K is gone from my "available balance". Also, if you go on his new team's page he doesn't show up on the Transfers page.

I'd like that 54K back please, lol.

The second one was the one who drained my cash. Neither are still on the market but i had them bookmarked for the time.

I'd love my 200k back as well.

On the topic of player sales, I had a player close yesterday and I'm unsure if I received any money for him. There's no indication in the economy section that I received money for the sale. Though the sale is listed in my trasnfer section, I didnt track my bottom line finances to be sure.
