Would a player who would cap with 2 more levels of IS/ID/REB/SB also cap if 2 more levels of Passing or OD were added instead?

Hi, to answer your question: No not necessarily. In BB there's a total of five different salary formulas, representing PG thru C positions. If you search for a player on the transfer list, there's an option to search for a specific "best position" - this is the game's way of allocating each player to each of those salary formulas. The salary formulas are unknown and at best we have our experienced estimates, but generally speaking a player with high inside skills will be in the Center salary formula and a player with high outside skills will be in the Point Guard/Shooting Guard salary formula. Forwards will be in between those two.

Bottom line: As long as those 2 pops in Passing or OD keep your Center (for example) still in the Center salary formula, then he will still have room for his cap.

Hope this helped! (y)

It does, thanks. I'm a little surprised that half my guys are still classified as PG, but I like to have a minimum level of passing on my players so I'm sure that plays a role. Maybe this change will even shift one or two of them into the SF "best posiition."
