Uhm Hattrick has tournaments though and technically you could play a game nearly every day. Wouldn't it be possible with the current engine to schedule private matches at your leisure (but with some limits of course) if you are a supporter? I understand the logic of 1 type of event per day (Private Leagues on friday, league 2 days a week, Cup on Thursday, NT and U21 on Monday, B3 on Wednesday ecc), but is there any deeper reason why friendly games cannot be scheduled in other days?

Especially without an autobid there is a need to be somewhat active. A team you are playing could have purchased a player, there's forums and a lot of other things to get involved with. This game is a living entity.

I'm not saying you should trick people per say, just that giving people a reason to want simply sign in once a day wouldn't be excessive.

I completely disagree with the idea that people aren't interested in online basketball sims, Franchise modes are big in the 2k realm... and although the approach is different I think BB if it were more engaging could attract a wide audience without the need of a complete overhaul (outside of the potential app of course).

Ok Perpete, my stance is clear. I do not think you should impose games on everyone.

1) not give a bigger advantage to Supporters
I'm not saying it should be without limits. Is the supporters' perceived advantage at the moment that they can gather more data on how the GE works based on Private League games? I'm not a Supporter and I think that's totally fair. If you make a poll on this, people will say no, because most of them are sore losers and think that very small advantages can actually impact success. I think the BBs should take a decision on that on their own. I know they are very wary about adding benefits for supporters, but let's be honest: is 3 times a week rather than one (if so you wish) such a big difference?

2) less risks of having delays in the games if less games.
Ok. This is fair and if it is a problem, nothing can be done about it.

the pace of bb is ok, it's an online game to be played in the long run. being somewhat slow, it also means that if you are unable to login for a couple of days you won't screw your team up forever. the only thing i think should be tweaked is the offseason, sometimes you get 2 weeks without much going on and this is not cool even if you are used to it and are playing your 10th season or so. i wonder how many managers let BB go in the first weeks because they create their accounts during the offseason and their teams are idle... in the beginning you want action, if you don't get that it's easy to demotivate.
