I'm going to disagree slightly with CoachSK on how i'd build him.

3 PA Trainings, 5 pressures this season. with a lvl 4 trainer, he'd be close to this:

7/3/7/8/9/7 outside skills, 6/5.5/7/4

6 JS (PG/SG), 2 OnevOne (PG/SG)

by age 19 ASG:

10/4/7/9/10/7 outside, same inside.

This will allow your player to remain salary efficient at a low initial cost to you (8-9k salary cost). Additionally, it will make him good to go for pretty much the long haul on all outside training, at the cost of initially in his first two seasons hurting you at PG and then at C/PF. If you killed in on inside training, you could have a guy thats got relatively equal inside and outside game by age 21, which would be quite scary.

Thanks guys. I will work on his outside skills and hit the inside skills later on. I appreciate the advice.

I will disagree a bit with tough and CoachSK. Since he has superstar potential, he can be trained for another 6 or 7 seasons, if done correctly.

Jump Shot: strong Jump Range: awful
Outside Def.: strong Handling: strong
Driving: strong Passing: strong
Inside Shot: sensational Inside Def.: sensational
Rebounding: sensational Shot Blocking: inept
Stamina: respectable Free Throw: mediocre
Experience: pitiful

That would be what I would try to shoot for in guard skills. If you want, you could give him more outside training. As for his inside skills, you can use your own discretion. This will give him a salary of 22k, give him a cap score of 18.93, which means he will still have a bit more than 5 points left until he enters his soft cap, and users would pay lots of money for a player with a similar build.

You might want to check out the training simulator (229484.1). It can give you a sense of how your trainee will develop with the training you want to give him.

I like these plans to get the Outside D, Handling, and Passing first and formost. And then work on his big man skills. I have not started to build the team yet but he will be my centerpiece to build around until I will be forced to sell him at some point. But a lot could change from now until then. I do not see many players with solid outside tools along with having good inside skills but I can see how these types of players could be very valuable.
