Money doesn't always bring happiness. Take the case of Andrew Jackson "Jack" Whittaker whose winnings ruined his life.

On December 25, 2002, Whittaker's life changed forever when he stopped at a supermarket to fuel his Lincoln Navigator and purchased a deli breakfast sandwich and a Powerball Ticket worth US$315 million. He states that if he could do it all over again, he would have just filled up his tank, bought a sandwich and gone on his merry way

Besides you are a hillbilly. What do you have to spend money on besides a new 30 year old trailer, Pork Rinds, Hog's maws, a corn-cob pipe and some teeth for Billy-Bubba-Joe?

Real nice. Glad to see you guys have a good sense of humor.

Billy-Bubba-Joe has two teeth, one of them is in his pocket. How many more does he need?

I think in Bolivia for $315,000,000 you could probably buy a small city.

John Batman "bought" Melbourne for a bunch of blankets.

Many people at the time thought the purchase of Alaska was a bad idea!

Already we were burdened with territory we had no population to fill. The Indians within the present boundaries of the republic strained our power to govern aboriginal peoples. Could it be that we would now, with open eyes, seek to add to our difficulties by increasing the number of such peoples under our national care? The country would be not worth taking as a gift.
