I wouldn't worry about SB. The small increase it gives is not worth the massive increase in wages. And for him it is tough since he has one player that is even and the other is too defense heavy. I would say start alternating between rebounding and IS.

Do as Naker has suggested just don't do the shot blocking.

so prolific is too high for inside defense or what? ... from reading forums i read it is harder to train defense after they reach a certain age so i figured i would just train that to marvelous first and then that would allow me to play 3 - 2 defense since i would have 2 bigs with great defense ... then move to rebounding then to inside scoring after?

maybe i am taking the wrong approach but that was just my view

It's not really a good idea to supersize one particular skill as training will slow. For example you have a C with respectable IS, ID and Rebounding . If you leave IS and Rebounding at respectable the further ID gets above respectable the more training slows.

ok i didnt know that, so should i always just switch up other things while training, like say im training a pg should i train outside defense one week then passing the next and then train handling after and just keep rotating the 3 of those?

Well you don't have to change training every week. A widely used strategy is to train a skill until you get a skill pop and then switch training. I like to keep main skills fairly balanced. It's probably ok if u want to keep a player a little unbalanced if you want a C who is more of a defender/rebounder for example. Its more the massively unbalanced skills i would try and avoid such as 4+ levels different.

I disagree, I understand that it isn't worth the rise in wages, but I am only suggesting that he raises it by 1 pop. If he does train it til it pops once, then it will increase the speed of training overall. Also training shot blocking trains Inside Defence and Rebounding as well, so it isn't being wasted.
