If you waited a season then youd get to get the extra half a mill to a mill he'd sell for.

If you sold him now you'd lose 20 odd percent of his sale price

Its not in Chuckys nature or interest to show pity against an opponents team.

He never tried to show HA any compassion back in div 3

Cant warm myself to support in any way the Dons, something to do with the teams name.

haha no worries I'll not even sell him in 3-4 seasons. as long as his salary is affordable, he's mine! in comparison, marco was paid 90k a week and estimated at 135k a week next season (after 2-3 weeks in that one!). his jr was a killer as many managers pointed out, although he remains a very good player.

looking forward to buying my next pf trainee, beware 2.2 fellows :)

Man, you really are in the middle of a big retooling exercise.

I'm really hoping that Trakys adn Stevens progress this year, as it sounds like i'll need them against your pf/c prospect you'll be purchasing. I fully expect that you'll make a charge late in the season just as you did last season.

In other news DAS is completely blowing up his roster by the looks of things. Just two players are left on his team with a salary of more than $5500. I wonder if he's actually blowing things up and going into tank mode, or just retooling after missing out last season.

There's certainly a lot going on with roster movements so far this season. More so than last year.

So, who's feeling confident going into round 2 of the cup. 3 teams from II.2 have already been knocked out, lets see if all can progress to round 3.

Oh I won't be any threat this season. I'm buying this PF as soon as possible so he can help me both in the league and the cup. I'll need 2-3 seasons to get my boys ready for a top fight. I'll just aim for 5th once again, build up this arena and train, train, train.

When you think about it, these are my current trainees ages: 22, 23, 23. Too young to win in d2!

On another note, here are some interesting stats after the first 3 games:

well that loss was expected, and actually closer than expected given HSD played normal. Now to win in the cup.

I'm pretty bloody surprised myself!

I reckon I've equaled my total wins in div II in my previous season up here in the first four games!

Very glad to be on this end of the ladder though I must say.

Nice to see I have made some ripples too. :)

It looks like you're making the most of your attendance boost from winning in Div III last season to, which is probably meaning you're just able to afford your team. You'll have to keep winning though to keep the fans happy otherwise finances could become tight. Looking at your Roster you're spending around or just $400k on players per week. I reckon that's easily close to the most expensive roster in the league, so success should be expected.

Either way, you've got a good size arena, and good attendances so if you hold your form you may be tough to knock off. Though you'll still have to get past GT and HSD.

It would be an amazing effort for a team promoting from div 3, to be able to promote straight into the ABBL after only the one season in div 2.

Dont know that they have sufficient depth in the roster either.

If Glenelg Tigers decide to pull the right strings they should be unbeatable.

Dont underestimate my bro either

I was maintaining the team VERY easily lasts season, and ticket prices have gone up this season. So even with the raise in salaries the boosted income playing in div II easily compensates. No worries to maintain the team.

Making over 526k at the moment, and still putting aside a sizeable portion of that after expenses. I have undercosted bleachers, and courtside seats so can still stand to make a better margin too.

Overall pretty happy with where things stand at the minute.

Sounds like you've got your team in a good position then. You must have put some serious work into the arena in the early years by the sound of it.

Good luck champ, it's gonna be tough to beat you.
