Last week we did a good test against Argentina, trying to learn something about how the game engine considers our offense.
Now we have to get back in the competition against a tough rival like Indonesia, with 2 W and 1 L suffered against China last monday using a strange lineup with all big men and no rotations.
I am contacting again many managers because our recruiting never sleeps, we need to plan carefully the future, since our 20yo players are really good, but our 19yo are actually awful. So if you feel you have a player suitable for the U21, don't hesitate to contact me. I'll be happy to provide you an answer and a training plan in order to improve our chance in the next Asia Cup.
Actually we have 18yo at the same level than many 19yo, that's quite weird if we consider that China is way ahead and our goal, you know, is to beat them sooner than later!

Philippines catch Indonesians off-guard and cruises to a 46-point victory, 131 - 85.

The Philippines caught fire early as they scored 40 points and shot 65% including 6 of 8 attempts from threes to open the quarter. Brin Ocampo and Victor Gotardo lead the stampede and combined to score 21 points to jump start the running game. Gotardo shot 63% from the field to finish the game with 17 markers including 3 threes.. Brin Ocampo lead all scorers with 19 points 2 threes and 5 assists.

Howell Rios picked up the rest of the scoring slack during the 3rd quarter, scoring 12 points on perfect 6/6 shooting, all on open shots. He finished the game with 17 points, 3 assists, 3 blocks and 17 monstrous rebounds.

Howell Rios and Pepe Macalinag (13 points 12 rebounds) controlled the boards as no Indonesian player had more than 8 rebounds. The team had a +27 rebounding edge.

Eight Filipinos scored in double digits as a show of force and the starters contributed 82 points to the teams total scoring output. The team is averaging 140.2 points in the last 3 games while limiting their opponents to just under 100 points and 38.2% shooting.

Widayat Nusstanyo lead all starters for Indonesia with 24 points. He scored 15 points in the 4th but the game was pretty much settled at that point.

Center Respati Hariansyah scored 18 points but missed all 7 of his attempts from the charity stripe, he had 14 points at the halfway mark.
