Hey guys just wondering now that I have played my first full season, how do you think I went? Positives? Negatives? Be as harsh as you want (I'm used to it) ;)

without knowing ur trainees it is hard to see how u did training wise.. dont post ratings here, pm someone if you want advice.

i would say honestly you have to many young guys.. you can only train 3-6 a week, depending on single pos or 2 pos training, yet your whole team is under 20. work out what you're training, whether it be guards or bigs, and transfer list the other guys. If you're training guards, sell your bigs, if you're training bigs, sell your guards. dont try and train guards 1 week and bigs the next, you will just slow everything down... and remember, potential.. you have a lot of guys there that due to their potential will never be more than orange peelers..

then, whatever position you're not training, invest in a couple of 30 year old 10k-20k plus guys to hold down those positions whilst you train.

you did not invest nearly enough in your arena this year.. you need to get that stadium pumping.. more seats = more income, and you need to build it up as early as you can! especially while you are winning in div 4...

not to be harsh, but you finished 3rd in a league with 4 active managers and the rest bots.. i would think there is some improvement needed....

without knowing, but i am guessing you are over spending on staff.. let us know what ur paying ur staff...

u asked for harsh so here goes

demon soul had a good roster so maybe u were unlucky 2 be in his conf but next season will be ur 3rd in d4 = FAIL

s17 u should have tanked hardcore 4 the best draft pick & been making max $$$

this season u should have just gone for the best possible reg season record so u could get a bot promotion

losing 2 Ulvie Stars (BOT!!!!!) & Team CSC (best player 8k) was 2 huge mistakes, win those 2 games & u r in d3 next season

Team CSC put more into this game than The BuzzerBeater Team

who was smarter?

i like ur all aussie team that will help ur merch - there is a d2 team like that who made the sf

but u have paid too much for bad talent & did anyone ever tell u how to train properly? feel free to ask & i will tell u

ok bashing is over

arena is improving which is good
u came 2nd in conference which is nice
u have a couple of trainees who could be stars IF they were trained properly this season
u seem keen to learn & can take a hit
next season u r winning & going to d3 with @ least 2 star players if you do things correctly

how is that?

Yeah that was pretty good abigfishy haha

Yes losing to those two teams in the other conference was disapointing. I had a massive school assessment task that week and did not get a chance to go on buzzerbeater. Evidently I paid for it.

I am paying $30k in total for my staff. I have basic pr manager and doctor and advanced trainer..

And I know I have to continue to build my stadium up.

for $30k i think ur spending to much.. how much are you paying the advanced trainer? you should be able to get 1 of those earning between $10,000 and $13,000 per week for less than $5k..

Everyone else's comments are good. But after a few seasons in this game there are some fundamentals that should start to become a bit more obvious.
So my comments are in the form of questions that only u can answer to urself.
- Game shape - do u know what this is and how to manage it? Do u understand the benefits?
- enthusiasm vs effort - what they are and what are their differences? When should u tie and when should u CT?
- why a $20k salary player is not always better than a $15k salary player.
- the concept of potential and how it affects a player in the game.
- tactics - what types of players suit certain tactics. And what u should play vs other teams.

As i said, u may already know these concepts but if u don't they are concepts that u should be working towards understanding in the coming season.

My only advice is to read lots of forum posts. Good luck.

Coach Regan is correct but it is more extreme. A $5k player in good game shape, with good balanced skills and good enthusiasm can outplay a $30k player in bad GS, with low enthusiasm and who is a momo-skilled monster.

Think of game shape (GS) as another aspect of fitness like stamina. Do you want your players to be fit and play like Dwight Howard or waddling slowly down the court like Eddy Curry?

PS: I hear Curry has lost nearly 50KG and is looking much better this season.

For the best GS play your guys about 48-70 minutes each week and have a doctor with massage specialisation.
