I have an 11 man roster, but functionally only 9 players that play in games that matter.

I always get a scrimmage.

NO ONE at this table ordered a rum & Coke

Maybe I'm not understanding.....Are you saying if you have a 10 man roster you are not allowed a scrimmage?

I just looked at the schedule of one of the teams I'm talking about and he had scrimmages all year.

Can you please explain?

You are allowed, but your game shape will be shot. I like to carry two scrubs for scrimmages.

The other downside are injuries. So doctor lvl1 is not really an option. Massage speciality is another thing to consider, but it is not such a bargain as I thought it would be - mostly because gameshape respectable-proficient fluctuates anyway.

Well I think that you need lvl2 doctor (or better if you rally care) anyway. It's not that costy - and this is really about point of view because salaries of players differ much at different levels. Injuries happen to teams with more players on roster too and it is players of the main rotation are probable victims, there is just a hope you have sufficient depth (and I think you can have that depth with 10 players too - depends on toughness of oposition, I guess I'll see next year).

i act with a 10 man rooster two, but i always buy 2-4 player each week for my scrimmage, to keep gs high.

yes, and you could buy for the spot 9-14 cheap guys with low salary, when you are out of cup ... With cup games i become more trouble with 9-10 solid players.
