there will be a voting. i dont think anyone knows the forumla. The best players (more or less) will be picked. Sometimes this means some teams have multiple players in the all star team. There will be 10 players selected. 5 starters and 5 reserves...

Pretty sure I have some of the best players in my conference but because of training and cup games most of these players dont appear in leagues top 10 in scoring,reb and assists(played less minutes).Will this effect the voting?does the voting just go on top 10 rankings for the league or best players overall.

I think that players playing in their best position and as starters have an advantage. I had very few players in all-star and not a starter despite being second best team in conference last season.

Worth informing about is that participation in all-star game has no advantages at all for the players. They get no improvements at all, neither in experience, form or in specific skills. That they played in an all-star game will only be available at standings for your conference so it will not increase player "fame" in any sense so that you can get a higher price when selling player.

All-star game is affecting your team as much as private leagues, that is nothing.

For some people all-star game is a fun thing though so hope you will enjoy it even if it is just for fun

My players do get fame for playing in the all-star games. And since we will beat the other team, it will put shame on the other team. For me this is the highlight off the season. For my players, playing in the all-star game is almost as important as playing for their national squad.

ps: yes, you dont gain directly from the all-star games, but I play this game for fun and I really see it as a credit to my work to have players voted into the all-star team. With regards to private leagues, it is the best way to test things, without risking injuries etc. There is no better way in my opinion to test tactics that you might never use in the league than to try it in the private league...

do players get injured in the All-Star game?

they get injured i think, but it has no influence what so ever. like a private league game. I even believe already injured players will play in the all star game, but I am not 100% sure...

I disagree with your idea that having all-star nods somehow shows you are a better team. If you have a team where the manager doesnt log on for several weeks, then his starters will be starting every game and his stats will be inflated. However, most active managers, and primarily the good ones, dont start the same player at the same position for every game. When considering not just training, but also game shape, it isnt all that wise to play your starting 5 for 90-100 minutes a week, while your bench players get 15-20.

In my opinion, if you have several all-stars, you probably arent managing your players minutes to maximum effect. In our league the majority of the players listed in the top ten section are players from bots or soon to be bots, although I think my whole arguement is moot in the higher divisions, as most managers are active there and also manage player minutes properly.

In my division it is very possible that the top two teams may only have 1 all-star between them. Jordan couldnt win a championship until Pippen got there :)

who coaches the all star teams? Or I should ask is the coaching (tactics, deep chart) automated in all star games. we know the starters and reserves are voted but who does the rest for these teams.
