Since it is a few games into the season, I figured I would start this season's power rankings! Mediocrity has graciously let me provide the team rankings this season but he will continue his MVP predictions and provide other insight for the league.
My model is a little different than his, however. It is a 1000 point system based on six categories that are weighted as follows:
Team Record: 250 points
Team Salary: 100 points
Cup Success: 150 points
Point Differential: 100 points
Team Composite Rating: 200 points
Top 5 Team Ratings (League,Cup,BBM): 200 points
These ratings will not be 100% accurate but I hope to provide a little more insight for everyone and keep the forums lively for this season!
Without further adieu, here are this week's power rankings:

notes:
It seems to be Apex and then the field but sixth (triple-double) has started out hot and is also undefeated to start the season.
The are 8 3-3 teams and the NBBA seems to be more competitive than it has been in seasons.
A team to look out for: southpaw army. They have just picked up a 200k player and are ranked high in the rankings despite their 1-5 start.
Splash Gang has also just picked up an NT big in Luis Turland and has also recovered to full health after two starters went down with 2 week injuries to begin the season.
