Yeah for sure, a intra club match would be cool. Hayastan was the only country to agree to a scrimmage with us this week, but they already had a competitive game!

Game vs Vietnam was a great one, with Dimitriov out after binging at the golden arches, and Grover going down with an injury in the first minute, the team still managed to blow out opposition players with a 75pt win.

MVPs
3- McFlynn: 24pts on 75%FG, 19 boards, 3 assists.
2- Richardson: 23pts, 4 boards, 3 assists, 3 steals.
1- Nayyar: 6 assists, 5 steals, 4 fouls, 3 boards, 2 brainfarts, 1 TO.

Just a reminder to managers as we progress through the season, we need to focus on game shape by keeping our u21 players under 70 minutes, and to keep in touch with training plans.

Cheers!

A nice close game tonight until the last quarter where we stepped up. Japan had some class in that side, and took it to us.

MVPs
3- Grover. 25pts on 12-14FG shooting!, 20 boards. 3 assists, 2 blocks. Huge game.
2- Dimitriov- 21pts, 15 boards and good %
1- Sage- not sure how he got 48mins( I swear I put Unzeitig as the starter), but he did well. 12pts, 10 boards and 4 assists.

Next week is Malaysia. Should be a battle. The communication is generally quite good so lets keep that rolling ready for the 2nd pool stage.

Early blowout vs Iran sends Australia into top spot of Second Phase
(44358)

A brilliant team display projects Australia into top spot of the new pool. However, danger looms as the might of Philippines snatch a game off Taiwan. It seems the most important game in this second phase will always be the next one... On the plus side the team is shaping up very well week in, week out.

MVPs
3- Richardson
2- Grover
1- Sage

Next up is the Philippines. These guys pack a punch at every position. Really important for managers to be closely monitoring games to balance minutes from here on. Any questions, please ask. Well done on the game ahape of everybody this week, made my life as coach very easy.

Australia lock in top spot of conference with key win vs Philippines
(44367)

It was a massive game to determine semi-final placements tonight. Both teams came in with less than ideal preparations with an Osmond injury on Saturday, A game shape hit to key players Grover and, Dawes and Rhodius, meanwhile Philippines also had their woes with their key big man going on the market a few days ago, tipping us off with his skillset.

The game was played at a really high pace, however the scores did not reflect this! Australia seemed to find key players open for shots despite great defense, opening the margin in the first quarter and only building on it thereafter.

Next week we face our final opponent Vietnam before our semi final match, most likely against Hong Kong, unless Japan can cause an upset.

MVPs
3- Grover- amazing game despite his game shape. 14pts, 7 boards, and 4 assists
2- Dimitriov- Statline wasnt sperb but his defensive effort was, and he managed a double double matching up on the oppositions key player. 10pts, 12 rebounds, 3 blocks and 2 steals.
1- Sherratt- in just 14mins he was the teams second highest scorer. Super efficient game and tightened the screws for the team when the subs came in. Really infuental off the bench. 12pts (6-9FG), 5 boards, 2 assists.

Great job managers!
