My question is to DYD: thank you for your application to our country. I like your resume and applaud your dedication to other NTs. This shows you have the stamina to provide our community with information for a length of time, something that has been often missing in our NT as the season draws on. I also think it is exciting to see your experience as last year's winning NT, and feel this could be an opportunity for you to genuinely help our nation learn more about top level NTs.

My questions are
a) how will you link your role to the u21 team, and
b) what assistance do you need to set up in your role from other managers?

DYD: It can be hard to convince this particular community to not go with a local option, especially with our relatively large userbase usually giving us local options to choose from. You've already made a point about how skill and involvement should trump nationality, but what more would you say to those who aren't yet convinced?

Thank you for the question Jay.

It's very difficult to answer to a so "unspecified" question, but i try.

i don't tell you i will win every match for sure. It depends from too much things: game shape, injuries, study of the opponent, in game situations. It will be a game by game work where i will try to do my best everytime according to your community help in managing your players and answering to my requests.

also, if all together we reach good results in Asian and worldwide competition, i'm sure i will continue to be AUS coach. So i'm not here to be a 2 seasons only coach, but with a long term project where i can develop my ideas with your involvment.

Thank you Whitewind.

A) I don't know if you cooperate with NT, but i'll explain how we work in Italy:

We're doing a long term work with very good draftees with 9+ potential. We try to reach U21 with a balanced training. Training plan is shared between U21 coach and NT coach, and it avoids to have a High salary "only primaries" 21yo players with low market value.
Zito, my player, is an example of this way of training. Another one is Zoff (37797709), 115 tsp one season ago before starting Rebound.

Maybe, this way, a lot of players will reach U21 as forwards, but there is a long term advantage for users.

So i hope to have cooperation with you. Other kind of work is, for sure, an help in "scouting" players, to update your Database or similar.

B) It depends on your community. 2/3 scouts, one "spy" to report foreign NT players on the market and one who helps in opponent studying is the minimal staff composition to set up, if anyone want to help.

Hi
I only offered my candidacy if there was no other Australian running as there is i will not be running at this point. I will be making another attempt to make the abbl this season and am re jigging a small part of my roster to achieve this. I've recently been focusing on training players so i have a better balanced roster overall and i would prefer to make it to the abbl before taking on a national team. So maybe i will run in the future.

Don't forget to vote people. Voting closes tomorrow and you should have your say on who you want to have the role.

Thanks for those who were involved in the discussion. I'm about to go on a 12 hour drive so wont be able to respond to questions now till close to voting close time.

Good luck to DYD.
