Well here in the USA far as I've experienced there is a little more variance than 1k. Maybe the formula was tweaked and the contracts got a little smaller, but if that was the case I think there would have been a thread about it.
I was in III.9 for 9 seasons, the TV contract was always somewhere between $95-102k, Went down for two seasons and I am now in my 4th season in III.5 and our payout right now is 89,911 and over the other three seasons it was 90k MAYBE 91k.
