Week 1 Cup Round-up:

Most of us played bots last Thursday, with a few exceptions:
• Sons of Ander mopped the floor with Fewmit's once glorious Old Yet Sexy Hippies.
• Rashmonsters survived an extra-effort attempt from a D.V team called Yoshis Army.
• Besiktas Cs manhandled their D.V opponent, Cordia.
And
• Edmonton's scrubs took a walloping on the road when they visited the pumped up starters of the Whitewater Warhawks and became the first tournament casualty from III.2.

Week 2 Cup Preview

Next week's match-ups is rampant with bots again. And a few teams will face nearly-bots. But some teams are up against teams that will require some strategy:
• Big Red will host the USA's #3 ranked team, In your face, from the NBBA.
• Lakers Celts visit Maryknoll Fury, a D.IV team that made a deep cup run last season.
• Shooter Tutors make a trip to IV.36 to take on a respectable team in Da Ballers.
• Stormz host OcColonels, a team that ended up one buzzer-beater shy of a trip to D.III last season.

Good luck to everyone!

*sigh* Being the first loss in the cup for this league sums up my expectations for the season... Losing. A lot. (even though I did play my scrubs, and a loss was inevitable)

EDIT: Training my Peru U21 center is my main priority for the year (and making a lot of $$$ while I'm getting crushed by everybody).

It's still early! I like your plan, though...I had a under 21 trainee who didn't make it, but it was fun to train him.

Yeah, training can actually be pretty fun. I just sold my PG, too, so I'm thinking about purchasing another trainee to pair with him.

That's smart. I always have at least two or three trainees at any given time.

Just wanted to check in on my favorite D.III league. Not surprised by the current rankings so far, and I know who my preseason favorite is.....

To my delight, I just saw Sons of Andersons lineup for the first time, well done, sir. I though perhaps my buzzerbeater was glitching, and yet I saw another and another Anderson...

Perplexed, I sat back for a moment. Then I laughed! Youre a genius!
