Wow i never realised it was called Attitude!

haha

ok so as horrible as it might sound, in real life sport, this is real. teams will take different pre-set attitudes into every game.

so yer, from my perspective it adds a little bit of realism to the contest and an interesting tactical mechanism.

I like it.
It's one of the main variables that keeps things interesting and makes this game a challenge.

When I first saw this thread, I thought it meant the attitude shown by some users, the aggressive way some things are either pushed for, or against. I rushed to agree.

However I find myself agreeing with this.

Incidentally I lost in the playoffs last season, despite home advantage, playing normal enthusiasm against crunch time. I don't have a problem that he was able to do that, I was aware of the possibility when I set normal. I've won other games in the opposite circumstances. It makes the season more strategic and interesting.

Look mate, you don't need to TIE every match to have maximum enth for playoffs.

Check coach parrot excell sheet, I think it has enth calculator included..

I must say that I don't like your idea, attitude is part of your strategy.

Cheers

I personally like the options to TIE, Normal, or crunch but you do raise a great point in.. " So play every game lade back and then you will be in a great moral state ??"

I would like to see losing and winning affect the outcome on enthusiasm. For example, If you win with TIE, enthusiasm increases 2 (arbitrary), If you win on normal, enthusiasm gravitates toward 7 (arbitrary). If you lose, with TIE, no change or possible decrease for enthusiasm. That would provide more incentive for winning streaks and strategic runs.

But if you hadn't taken it easy, it would have dropped further. Once enthusiasm reaches the maximum taking it easy only maintains that level. However, that's still better than normalling at that point, as maintaining enthusiasm is a worthwhile goal in itself.
