A little bit. Looks like i'll probably end up with the last pick in my draft this season though so just decided to keep my money.

Will probably put some money in to it next season just to have a play around.

That's why I love the group demo option - really gives you a chance if you're picking late. So this season you'll just have to settle for winning the league then. :)

Well, each team's baseline rankings are different and everybody's baseline rankings are way off. And with 16 teams, and 16 different baseline rankings, it will be just as hard to get a good pick if you're picking late, wouldn't it? (Because if you use group demo and get a good 5 baller with a poor baseline ranking, the probability is that he has a high baseline ranking for other teams in your league and vice versa).

In this case, rather than spend 10 points to use the group demo, would it be better to spend those 10 points to scout 10 high baseline-ranked layers once?

Not for me. Seems like the initial rankings are a very rough guideline - a lot of managers have mentioned how it wasn't accurate for them. In my case I found 3 players with 5 balls and only 2 1 balls and if I remember correctly 3 2 balls among the bottom group. At worst even if you get a lot of 1 or 2 balls the group demo lets you know which players you absolutely don't want. The probability of the baseline rankings being accurate needs to be a little higher to make scouting the top 10 more useful. But then, you have the option to decide what you want to do - which is what I love about the new system.
