that would be way more useful than the percentage of wins/loses (why is it even there?)

yes, but NBA has it because teams sometimes play 45 games while others have already played 48 and percentage is a good way to compare performances... on BB teams play always at the same time and there is no need for a percentage comparison... it's just redundant...

% is useless, it only give the same info that the win/loss does

change the % to point difference instead of win/loss

see here how the AFL does it

look at Hawthorn and Port Adelaide same win/loss but hawthorn has a higher % due to point difference
