It's no. 2. Walkovers are not affected by the change. This feature will only be used when none or just one starter is set. If the number of players dressed (in the roster) is lower than the walkover minimum, the game will still be a walkover.

This is surprising. I was convinced until yesterday that "Empty Lineup / Let Coach Decide" was an intentional feature, with a number of advantages:

- managers must trade- off optimum substitutions vs control over who plays at what position
- managers must trade-off optimum minutes in game vs better control over weekly minutes
- managers can study how the BB-code compares players - useful both for newcomers and for experts

What are the downsides?

- enables a casual managing style with empty lineup in all competitive games
- favours managers who skip the training dimension of the game

But are these real problems? Casual players are a significant - although silent - component of the user base. And training is not a competitive strategy, it is an alternative way of playing the game, which actually makes it more interesting in the long term. Those who claim that training and player development should be the optimum approach for short-term competitiveness cannot possibly be serious. Please look to the real world.

So in sum I do not agree at all that "Empty Lineup / Let Coach Decide" should be punished. This would make the game poorer.

We may or may not agree on the legality of the "feature/loophole", but the chosen path for the game is to try and fix that. This is not the intention of this thread as the decision has already been made. This thread should be used for reports on the effectiveness of the new code.

However, looks like we're not that close to a solution since today we had an issue with the new game engine which delayed training and had to replace it with the old version, which basically means that BL prevention is postponed till next week.

Ok, qui è più chiaro. Come al solito intervengono su cose minori tralasciando altri aspetti più importanti ma vabbé...

Comunque il discorso è diverso. Non si tratta di riempire i buchi in amichevole. Andrebbe ad abolire la pratica comune di non schierare la formazione (o parte) lasciando scegliere al coach le sostituzioni in maniera dinamica, ovvero sfruttando un algoritmo per ottimizzare lo schieramento azione per azione. Col nuovo motore di gioco, il coach sceglie si lo schieramento, tuttavia le sostituzioni avvengono in maniera tradizionale.

Guarda secondo me in III due lunghi da 220k totali sono anche eccessivi, piuttosto io li spalmerei. Considera che io ho vinto la III stagione scorsa con gli stessi con cui ho giocato praticamente tutta la prima parte di stagione qui in II e spendevo circa 65k per Vtorov, 87k per Rabih, 58k per Rescio e 45k per Frankenhauser. Quest'ultimo inoltre è stato un acquisto low cost delle ultime settimane che speravo mi avrebbe dato una mano anche in II e finché le sue skill non sono calate troppo così è stato
