So I got lucky AF vs the #2 USA team.

The owner hasn't been online since 3/22/202...
so his account was swept and all his players were put on the market... THE DAY OF MY CUP GAME.
I've never been so lucky lmao

Last season (or so) I got lucky and made it to the Top 32 in the tournament
It'd be crazy if i did again. Still have a lot of building to do.

Hi again everyone, game 11 tonight after some Thursday night Cup drama we returned to league action,

With the Big 8 hosting tonight we have,
The Lion Rebels travel to play Green Gremlins
Illiniwek looks for a big time victory against 8-2 Monkeykid Maniacs
The SM Lizards pay a visit to above the rim and CC Mavs
NoVa Stars look to take advantage of the injury ridden Philadelphia Oreos
Beachlife is the next in line trying to stop the New York Dragons
The H-Town Ballers play at the Mindless Zombies in game either could win
The battles of the fours features Boom is Art and Righteous Rebellion
And the game of the night features Pittsburgh, again, this time playing at the Galloping Sloths

This will, likely, be my second time past the ASB in the cup... no achievement, just blind luck. lol

I suspect the Lizards prioritized winning a winnable Cup game over playing their best line up against you. Not an insult, but a financial decision. And maybe a pride one--he's close to getting past the All Star Break while still in the Cup.

I've been a D2 playoff team, but I've never gotten past the ASB in the Cup. I'd really, really like to.

I'll admit I just did this myself against New York. But given their record, I assumed I'd lose even if I did try, so I saved my better players for the Cup match that I think I have a better shot at winning. Having 3 games during ASB is great for training. I don't really care about being in it past that point, though.
