D.II.1 – Season 68: Day 10 Recap (May 6, 2025)
by Buzzer-Manager

Irregulars Unleashed, Smallfries Sizzled, and Southpaw… Sunk
Day 10 was a night of runaways and rallies. Baker Street broke the scoreboard, Smallfries-Hooligans gave us a thriller, and southpaw army might want to check if they still have a basketball team. Big nights from Cots, Guangcheng, and Bandeira reminded everyone who runs D.II.1.

Baker Street Irregulars Obliterate southpaw army
131-44. That’s not a typo. The Irregulars put on a defensive and offensive clinic, leading the night in points, rebounds, blocks, and humiliation dealt. Ruxing’s flamethrower from deep and Guangcheng’s work on the boards turned this into a massacre.

Smallfries Fall in a Classic
In the game of the night, Hemet Hooligans edged Smallfries 117-112. Bandeira lit it up, and Cümşüdov was dominant inside, but Greber’s all-around brilliance led Hemet to a gutsy win in one of the season’s most entertaining showdowns.

Flying Ostriches Glide Past Big Forest
No let-up from the Ostriches. They hammered Big Forest 118-75 with 38 team assists and complete control from the jump. Inceris continues to be the heartbeat of this rising contender.

Village Idiots Outgun the Storm
Harbor City put up a fight, but the Idiots had too much firepower, winning 116-103. Freeman’s facilitation kept the Storm in it, but their defense couldn’t contain the constant pressure from Lambert and crew.

SomeTeam Sneaks Past the Mambas
A low-scoring grinder ended 79-76 for SomeTeam. Utters continued his quiet, efficient leadership, and despite a huge game from Cots—who stuffed every column—the Mambas fell short again in crunch time.

Wavy Gates Stun the Kings
Kings Knights dropped a tough one to Wavy Gates, 101-94. With Martone protecting the rim and Marcos controlling the boards, Gates showed poise and balance down the stretch to pull off a key win.

Tar Heels Shut Down Wasted Potential
TAR HEELS #1 locked up Wasted Potential in a physical 83-70 victory. Paciente played wire-to-wire, but the Heels’ defense swallowed up scoring options and cruised late.

Blue Ocean Bounce Back
Blue Ocean took care of business against Corntucky, 101-87. Silva and Calhoun led a strong all-around effort, sending a message that this team’s not drifting—they’re plotting a course for the top half.

Crunch-Time Questions
• Can Baker Street turn this explosion into consistency?
• Is Smallfries’ defense going to cost them in crunch time?
• Have the Kings lost their grip on a top spot?
• Is Hemet finally finding their rhythm at the right time?

Final Thought:
Day 10 had it all—blowouts, buzzer-beaters, and brutal beatdowns. Some contenders roared. Some cracked. And one team got absolutely vaporized. As we enter the season’s second half, separation is coming fast. Playoff races are tightening. It’s time to lock in.

Stay tuned—Day 11 promises more fireworks

D.II.1 – Season 68: Day 11 Recap (May 10, 2025)
by Buzzer-Manager

SomeTeam Crushes, Ostriches Obliterate, and Kings Rise Again
The table is shifting fast in D.II.1. Day 11 brought a brutal series of blowouts, a redemptive win for the Kings, and another jaw-dropping showing from SomeTeam’s frontcourt monster. Meanwhile, Corntucky reached new depths, and Wavy Gates eked out a nail-biter.

SomeTeam Decimates southpaw army
121-54. That’s the beatdown. D. Nucaro was a walking cheat code, dominating the paint like it owed him money. SomeTeam played like a squad on a mission—and southpaw army barely showed up. This was destruction at its cleanest.

Flying Ostriches Melt the Mildcats
Corntucky got embarrassed—again—this time 114-32. The Ostriches swarmed like predators, forcing turnovers, piling up steals, and cruising end to end. They’re not just winning—they’re hunting. This was one-sided from the opening tip.

Kings Knights Stop the Irregular Surge
After Baker Street’s fireworks last round, the Kings snapped that streak with a composed 107-92 win. Revenge is sweet, especially after a loss like they took on Day 10. Smooth ball movement and stout defense carried the day.

Wavy Gates Edge Wasted Potential in Thriller
In one of the closest contests, Wavy Gates held on 97-95. Pelowski’s 40-point outburst nearly stole it for Wasted, but Choate and Marcos steadied the ship just long enough. A playoff-type finish with real implications.

Tar Heels Topple Smallfries Again
TAR HEELS #1 continued to cause trouble, this time outlasting Smallfries 101-91. It’s now clear: the Heels are more than a mid-tier threat, while Smallfries may be fading under defensive lapses and crunch-time inconsistency.

White Mambas Roll Over Harbor City
The Mambas dominated from start to finish, 115-89. Siagris was electric, and Harbor City looked overwhelmed by The White Mambas’ relentless pressure and fast pace. Mambas are quietly heating up.

Village Idiots Torch Big Forest
A blowout of epic proportions: 116-68. Lambert and Sloan steered the ship while Big Forest barely put up resistance. The Idiots are making a case for elite-tier consistency.

Blue Ocean Outswims the Hooligans
In an exciting back-and-forth, Blue Ocean pulled away late to win 118-108. Calhoun shined, leading a fluid offense that punished Hemet’s defensive gaps. Both teams look playoff-worthy—this one might have previewed a postseason duel.

Key Takeaways
• SomeTeam is a monster when Nucaro plays like that.
• Flying Ostriches are now officially terrifying.
• The Kings may have just saved their season.
• Corntucky… may need to rebuild from scratch.
• Wavy Gates are the league’s sneakiest clutch team.

Final Word:
Day 11 was pure chaos—just the way we like it. Blowouts, upsets, redemptions, and a few “are you serious?” performances. The standings are tightening, and every game is beginning to feel like a playoff battle. Buckle up—D.II.1 isn’t slowing down.

Day 12 is coming. Who’s breaking through next?
