Playoff Preview for Final 4 team

EricUnited
Spurs of the Big 8, a winning culture that the player understand. With players playing with each other more than few season, team work become their winning factor. With Wu Min Hao Leading the team. his leadership and the future face of the SG NT, opponent teams need to be figure out the best ways to beat this team.

SaungHninPwint
Country number 1 team in SG. Famous of having different big names joining the team on every season. With Ng Chu Jia SG no.1 leading this team, SHP cant go much wrong with the direction. However as compare to previous season, SHP fire power is much lesser than previous season. To win against EU, might need some magic under his sleeve.

Singapore Slingers BC
Warrior of the great 8. Famous of having power backcourt duo. Seems like having a successful team is to have NT player for your own. Having the famous splash brothers Justin and Yen Chun, SSBC comfortably sit on top of the league. Compare to previous season, is Yen Chun is healthy and ready to fly with Justin. With such a powerful back court, this season championship team might swing back to great 8.

PhantoMech
Having a great balance player on each aspect, PhantoMech is another experience team when comes to playoff. Rob Keenan a no new face for the team. With the helps of Toh Chun Yao & Toomas Tikker & David Mañero to form a solid wall. PhantoMech able to enter the playoff without much issue. However to challenge for the top of the mountain, PM might need to attract more talented player to join the team.

Nice writeup!!

Experienced team but gonna be another semis exit again 😂

Really apt to call them the Spurs and Warriors of SBBL though!
Perhaps even comparable to the 60s Celtics given Eric's dominance since the beginning and his ability to win consecutive titles...

In other news, nba season finally starting soon ^^

Playoff game semi final recap
SaungHninPwint vs. EricUnited 94 - 81

The Game: It was an unexpected victory for SHP as the game analysis expected EU to win the game. The game was going one sided and EU failed to take the lead to the end of the game. It was the SHP strong, neck to neck defend and foul trouble cause EU the game to score. Thomas was left early the game and it never when back the same way again.

The Good: SHP play on EU weakness which cause the key of the game. B. Del Sante turn on the take over mode taking 37 pts, 6 ast, 10-12 free throw. EU has no answer for this where by the 14 min, EU's PG, W. Thomas has already got the foul trouble issue.

The Bad: Other than Thomas gotten foul trouble, most fans are shooting at 1 guy. W.Min Hao has gone MIA with 4 point, 10 rebound and 6 turnover. Fans exploded on twitter comparing Wu Ming hao as karl anthony towns. Most of the fans were expecting to WMH to step up if he going to be the face of future NT. Some fans even suggest to invite Jimmy Butler for their practice game.

The overall: 20k Fan attended the game and some of the fans started to left early since the start of 4th quarter. Agasint all odds, SHP manage to turn the tide and win the game. They will face SSBC on Tuesday.

PhantoMech vs. Singapore Slingers BC 109 - 133
The Game: PM decided to play a head on challenge against SSBC back court brothers. But the game turn out to be a 1 sided game since the start of the game. PM try to turn the game back but it was too little too late. SSBC win a wide margin of 24 point ending the game.

The Good: Yeng Chun has been looking sharp and looking ready for SHP. Overall 5 of SSBC player's M. Szabó, R. Mühlmann(a sub???), V. Saksa and J. Chew manage to score 20 point in the game. Applause for SSBC strong front court brothers too as PM has no answer to them with A.Su Wai almost get a perfect FG with 6-7 shooting.

The Bad: Mañero was having a off night as he was 6-20 and throw 5 brick over the line. Fans for PM was arguing their match up is already 1 sided. Mañero has tried his best to challenge it. Other than Keenan and Tikker manage to score a margin of 50% scoring, rest of the team offense become non existent for SSBC.

The overall: Around 19k fans attended the game, SSBC easily cruise the victory as they prepare themselves for the upcoming game with SHP.

"Some fans even suggest invite Jimmy Butler for their practice game" nice one 😂

While waiting for your writeup for the finals preview...

After last winning and repeating the SBBL title in season 39, SSBC has continued their dominance on the Great 8 but lost out to 3 different opponents (Eric, SG Young Guns, SHP) in the finals for 3 consecutive seasons.
This time will be a repeat of the last finals where SHP managed to run away with the title after 2 successive victories.
But SSBC is back stronger than ever, and with a vengeance that has lasted 3 seasons..!

Will SSBC prevail and prove themselves as the best team in Singapore and not simply a strong team in a weaker conference?
Or will SHP repeat for the first time to win the 3rd title in their history?

Stay tuned for the SBBL finals to find out....
