The tech was there. The foul wasn't. Awesome game

Oh come on you can't expect players to just bottle it up when the ref blows a call. Respect for game techs need to be removed from the game entirely because the refs always abuse it.

Warriors choked though so they didn't deserve the W anyway...

So here's who I voted for on the All-Star ballot;

West: Russell Westbrook, James Harden, Kawhi Leonard, Marc Gasol, Rudy Gobert.

East: Isaiah Thomas, Demar Derozan, Jimmy Butler, Lebron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Yeah I decided to do the 'hip' thing and leave GSW off my ballot entirely :D. This forced some... unusual selections in the front-court, though I wouldn't say that they're without merit, as Gasol and Gobert are both playing great basketball for teams in the top six of the conference as of today. Besides, GSW doesn't need my vote with the bandwagon they have (seriously, Zaza Pachulia is in all-star contention based on the fan votes).

Isaiah was a decision I made based on his height or lack thereof. For him to be averaging 27.7 points per game standing at 5 foot 9 is an incredible feat in a tall guy dominated sport. Speaking of tall guys, perhaps I could've put Porzingis ahead of Butler since my 5 Eastern votes don't include a centre, but that recent run of losses from the Knicks put them below the Bulls in the standings, and Butler has done more for his team overall.

EDIT: Bulls have dipped below .500 so in my most recent ballot I swapped out Butler for Paul George as Indiana have recently surged back above the magical .500.

Five players from the Warriors will be in the all star game, the fans wills it.

The Process should be in the all star game too.

A Cousins/Davis frontcourt is scary.

Even NBA 2k17 rejected that trade. Divac could've gotten more.

I reckon that duo is definitely in the realms and has potential to surpas , Duncan and Robinson / Sampson and Olajuwon / Parish and McHale.

Big question mark for me is whether or not twin towers can still work in the modern three-ball era. Duncan and Robinson won their title together in a season where the league averaged 4.5 threes a game on 13.2 attempts (33.9%), and the lockout condensed season made players lethargic and the season slow paced, which tends to favour the slower but stronger big man.

This season, the league averages 9.7 threes a game on 26.9 attempts (35.9%), and the speed of which the games are being played is much higher (96.5 this season vs 88.9 in 98'-99'). Whilst Cousins and Davis can shoot from out there, Cousins is at best, slightly above average at threes, whilst Davis is definitely below average. And I'm not saying that threes are the be all and end all these days, but it's clear that both players excel in an area of the game that is less important now than it was back then.

So can it work? I'd say probably, but early signs are pointing to a flop with three straight losses...
