And what's the problem with "I can bid on my player" ?

If the owner bids on his player, tough luck for you. You keep bidding or you accept the fact that he is either a jerk or in real needs to keep his player and search for another player.

On his end, he will lose some money (taxes) and those taxes will be like it's a new player. He is losing something, you don't.

Are you one of those people that moralize only about things they find "important" to them , but other things that are not so "important" can pass in all directions ?!

Daytrading is not good (I can agree in some points) , but raising profit with your own bids is ok.
Its not ok , if you want certain sum to get , then put that price , not starting from low price to catch the potential buyers and then try to extort more money...

I wont lie , I hate those people and as soon as I notice that he/she is biding for his own player I stop biding , even if I need that player badly.

Never put the wrong guy on sale ? Or had an injury after you put someone on sale ?

There is reasons where you might not want a guy to be sold in the end.

Actually, I never accidentally listed my player, but two times I accidentally bid on my players. You can see two gray transfers in my history.

Especially irritating, because of the new taxes. I'll have to wait until the end of the season to transfer list my guy again.

(Yes, I enabled that pop us screen, after the mentioned incident)

And I do that too. That is the simple solution to the problem. Don't bid against someone bidding on his player. Instead of restricting his liberty by removing the possibility to bid on his player, just move on to another player. As I said, there is cases where you have to buy back your player.

Simple there are other ways of "getting back" of your player.
Why not even simple locking the price as soon as you bid on your own player , and he will be yours for sure without trying to extort more money...

You talking about cases when you need to get back your own player.

I gave you a really good solution and you still talking someone else might bid , that is an extortion...
