Yes I may have put too many eggs in the one basket.

on the positive though my guy is 28yo and yours is 36yo.

Iike last season I have refrained from buying geriatrics for philosophical reasons

His 50k per week salary means im only going to make 50 K per week profit from here on in

Looks like you have been plundering the retirement villages looking for recruits

4 players with salaries between 20 and 25K looks really impressive and you just might have my teams measure as long as not too many of your players break hips

One of them has been on my team all season and was leagues top scorer till some others joined.
Players with roles to get a job done. Part of it is an experiment with some ideas being tested.

You are by far in the box seat. My plan was all along to sit and wait till late and see if I can find some good affordable players to make a run. Rather happy with the guys I have an what they have cost me a few weeks to get their game shape in order. Did try some guys who went for heaps and had to pick times not many are on to get decent players at a decent costs.

In the end it comes down the BB gods anyway.

Thanks mate. Whilst it might be tempting to sell off, I would however like to get the promotion boost to next seasons ticket sales and the trophy for the home page
