The higher the division level that you are in, the lower the overall skill levels of draftable players.

Is that actually true? I had never known that either.

Yeah, this is news to me too. I always heard grumblings, but wasn't sure if it was fact or not. I don't follow the forums much outside this series, so y'all are my teachers. We can debate the merits of that at another time.

To the best of my knowledge it is true. If it is not "officially" true, I know of very few long time managers that bother with the draft after Div III at the latest. When is the last time that anybody saw a really good draft pick here?

My club has a "since existence" net profit on the draft. I don't know what 'really good' means, but most drafts have 1-3 players worthy selling for over 100k. Most draftees that could sell for 1k will sell for 100x or more of that with just a few weeks of 1 pos training to pop a few stats. I think if one wants to use the draft to it's fullest, they should commit to training the picks for half a season, you should be able to make more money.

Well since you asked...

Arthur Glass (28411387)
Weekly salary: $ 5 273
Age: 19
Height: 6'0" / 183 cm
Potential: hall of famer

Arthur Glass was pick 9 in the season 22 draft by Arizona Cacti.

Riley Rojas (29558979)
Weekly salary: $ 3 760
Age: 18
Height: 6'0" / 183 cm
Potential: superstar

Riley Rojas was pick 25 in the season 23 draft by Arizona Cacti.

Works out well for you guys too, because these kids will probably distract me from going all out to win this league for a few seasons.
