Shit Trent, you really let your team go. Having good player isn't even worth it if a players game shape is going to be that low! I find it funny how I read this directly after giving some English dude a lecture about one of our guards on the English U21 team last season. I'll make long story short.
He had around a 50k salary and was an amazing shooter and defender. Arguably our best guard. His manager did not keep him in good GS, thus instead of playing like a 50k player he played more like a 10-20k player because he just wasn't in shape to do all the things he could have done if his GS was good. The manager finally turned his GS around with two weeks in the season, but it was still only at 7. This player only ended up playing 2 games the whole season, and didn't even play that well. He played a total of 35 minutes, which is crazy because that's how much he could of been averaging a game. It was a shame he couldn't live up to his potential.
Anyway the point of that story is players suck when their GS is bad, and no one wants them :) I could have just said get your GS up and you should be fine, but I have the feeling you would not have listened to me. You should not be playing starters 48 minutes in 3 games a week. They should play in your two league games, and then let the scrubs and trainees play in the scrimmages. Scrimmages count for nothing, so the outcome means nothing to anyone. No one is going to look at a team and say they suck because they frequently lose scrimmages :) If you are playing those guys because you don't have enough player to field a team, just purchase a few scrubs for 1k. That way you can still field a team in scrimmages, get training minutes and improve your guys GS. Wasting 2k on two players isn't going to be that big of a deal either if you have to do it.
Just my opinion. If you want to advance through these PO's and BB, you are going to have to learn how to keep your guy's GS up at some point.
