Time passed so quick and regular season is over. Here's the recap for Day 22.

Booshes finished the season with the best W% and increased their winning streak to 16. Maybe Rip City just should have saved enths. for relegation battle, 103-60.

Tachenko finished 4th after beating Hawks at Indy, 93-94. This is Hawks first home league defeat since season 7, but that doesn't hurt them a lot.

Gavno will have the homecourt if they advance to finals. They showed everyone that they can play some outside offense too. Investors were hoping to land on 4th spot but they couldn't, 115-133.

Illusion and Bangers, teams with completely different targets, both put decent offensive efforts and Illusion's better rebounding numbers made the difference, 95-110.

Goats have the consistency about being inconsistent, 69-80. They could lose 3rd place but point difference of 5 saved them. They have to regroup and see what they can do against Illusion on Tuesday. Knicks didn't TIE the game and that doesn't look like a smart move considering they have a relegation series to take care of.

Steppers are the only new promotee to make it to the playoffs. 99-80 win over Dragons made sure they reached post season but it's time like these you understand how important FT's can be considering they missed 3rd place with 5 points.

Magic, might not have the best of the seasons but at least they will have homecourt and high enths. under their belt for the relegation series. Flyers lost to Magic 123-119 in OT but they have the honor of being the only new promotee to reach .500. That game sometimes looked like one on one between Holloway and Sanchez.

Cresleys wanted to finish the season with a win against Cleveland but the fell short at OT, 118-123.

It was the toughest player of the day selection. Too many insane performances and too many great numbers. This time player of the day award goes to 2 players. Statovici of Illusion (22 pts, 20 rbd, 6 asts) and Holloway of Magic (41 pts, 9 asts, 3 rbds)

There will be 6 games going on, on Tuesday. Playoff basketball is nothing like regular season so we will see which teams and players are the real deal. Best wishes to Cresleys and Dragons for next season and there's no doubt they will be back to D III real soon.

Its funny too.. Sanchez has been lights out in scoring the past two games.. and he is only playing due to Abbondazza's injury

Go ahead and win the whole thing, then we won't have to disappoint you next season.

I probably could've had better point differential but chose enthusiasm over pride. When the season began, I sat down and tried to analyze which teams I thought I'd be able to compete with for a 4/5 spot and put my emphasis on having good enthusiasm for the games against them.

One very eye opening thing for me was how difficult it is to keep any level of enthusiasm over 10. Next season, I will probably plan differently knowing what I know now.

in some ways it even sucks to promote, luckily we have a steady supply of strong DII teams that happen to relegate to our league every season

My point diff has been awful both seasons because I max out the winnable games and go easy and play subs on the unwinnable. This years crossover was brutal.

It's the best part of the season. PO and RL games are underway.

Crowd at Stationary Village were nerveous when Tachenko lead 44-42 on the halftime, 3rd quarter was nothing but great defensive intensity for Booshers, 91-71. A. Sigorraga who was 2 asts away from completing a triple double was asking "who's next" right after the game.

Well, Hawks are next. They beat talented guys from Cleveland and managed to make their way to conferance finals for 2 consecutive seasons, 114-102. German's 36 pts wasn't enough for Cleveland.

Steppers @ Gavno was another game decided on 3rd quarter. Mina finished the season with 34 pts, but Mays' injury at the very beginning of the game spoiled their plans, 99-79.

Unlike other homecourt teams Illuison didn't TIE (PO Normal) the game. Dominant performance throughout the game except 4th quarter means a ticket for the conferance finals for them, 94-73.

Home teams made a good start to RL games. Magic leads the series 1-0 after an easy 111-85 win over Knicks. Ketikidis didn't start for Magic but Luna again did a tremendous job on the offensive end.

Bangers was another winner of the night. Beavers and company executed coach's game plan very well and they beat Rip City although they TIE'd. TIE'ing at a RL game looked risky at first but it turned out to be a smart move for the Bangers.

Player of the day was T. Paakkolanvaara of the Knicks. (I know I know they have lost) 48 pts (6/11 behind 3 pt line), 6 rbds and 5 asts.

You certainly cannot endorse a player of the game in a losing PLAYOFF game! :-) I'm going to go find the best "winner"

EDIT: Okay, okay. so there wasn't a dominant performance out of any one else that got close to 46 pts. So I'll put my vote in for player of the day with an asteriks and an acknowledgement that you probably did give the right guy the nod. ;-)

That being said here are my top 3 for player of the day on a winning team, ahead of Mr. 46 pts.

2. Bangerz - Beavers - 17 pts 20 rebounds 2 steals 4 blks
3. Indi's - Bilon -- 22 pts - 19 rebounds 2 steals 1 blk (that 0-4 from the charity stripe is a killer, though)

#1 - The booshes team. 6 players in double figures, 2 with double doubles and leading the way with the complete game

Sigoria 14 pts 13 rebounds 8 assists ZERO turnovers.

I put them in that goofy order because picking the entire team is cheating and if I had to give an individual awards, I'd give it to Beavers.
