Maybe, but Braden played 41 damn minutes and I'm trying to get his GS up. Oh, well. The race in teh "not so" Great 8 is getting juicy. Goats seem like they're in.

Regular season is almost over and still almost nothing decided yet.

After taking the first seed, Booshes have no intention to give it back and cruise past Flyers 109-93.

Cresleys will have to win both remaining games to avoid relegation after losing to Hawks 98-113.

Gavno beat Knicks and increased the point difference between Illusion in a very tight title race, 100-78.

Illusion pulled an easy victory over Dragons, 94-77, but they might regret their below-par 4th quarter effort. (12-29) Dragons are officially relegated.

Race for 3rd place in Big 8 is over. Cleveland did a great job against Tachenko, 103-89. They seem like a very dangerous playoff team. Tachenko's 4th playoff spot is now at jeopardy.

Goats are recovering. They almost clinch 3rd spot thanks to the stylish road win against Investors, 86-100. Investors are now down to 5th.

Steppers grabbed a big big win @ Bangers and climbed to 4th, 72-76. Despite still having a shot on 4th spot Bangers will probably play the relegation series with a homecourt advantage.

Rip City and Magic played for a possible homecourt in relegation series at Portland. Rip City surprisingly CT'd and Magic TIE'd but this is still a huge win for Oregonians, 111-76.

Player of the day is Bangers big man Colin Gabriel with 35 pts, 23 rbds and 3 asts.

Games to watch on Tuesday are Rip City @ Flyers, a match up that can affect relegation and play offs, and Gavno @ Goats.

Always love the analysis, thanks for doing it. Do not prefer to give the player of the day to a guy on a losing team in a critical match, however*.

Not saying his performance wasn't grand, just saying that his team needed to win this game and they dropped it. So perhaps player of the day should go to one of the other players who won.

Incidently, any of you following the thread in BB-USA regarding the u21 team? I seem to be catching a lot heat for suggesting that the u21 team and its selection criteria should be made a little more transparent in an effort to educate the dumb users of the US like me who still don't know what they're doing.

Am I way off base on this? It seems so logical to me but it appears that my suggestion has offended some people and they're being overly dismissive of my thought process. I trust that you guys might take anything I say with a grain of salt in case I said something that may have been in a tone of condescenscion and can appreciate that I trully am a newbie asking for some direction.

EDIT: To link the thread in question in case any of you want to take a look (130717.1)

* I may be biased about that player of the day thing considering it was a guy who had a monster day against MY team. ;-)

Player of the day / week / month is usually chosen among the winner teams but I just look at the stats and rating. This is not official this is just the player I like. In Colin Gabriel case, Bangers didn't lose because of him they have lost despite of his tremendous effort. Actually we had a nice player of the week thread but we couldn't keep it alive.

I know. He did have a big game. Just didn't want the player of the week coming out of my match!

I can see both side of this "argument". I think Coco is stepping back a bit from his first rather-harsh reply. He seemed a bit more conciliatory in a later response.

Sure, he should be able to give some basic guidelines of player skills they are looking for (13+ in bigmen/guard skills, 6+ in all others, or something similar), but I don't think logging into that website occaisionally is too much to ask. I just did it, as I hadn't logged in there in months, Thankfully the userame and password were saved in my cache. Took a few minutes to look around. You can order the players by age, and then compare your players to the ones already in the database.

Does an off-site forum exist as well? Can't seem to find that.

Trully, I agree that its not a lot to ask. I just don't think it should be a requirement. You know that I know a thing or two about getting people interested in the u21 experience that are not supporters or offsite forum users. You also know that I like to stir the pot a little, sometimes. ;-)

Have fun and good luck to everyone tonight.

The playoff picture should be pretty clear heading into the last game of the season

Sorry Gavno. I meant to inform you that I was gonna let you win that game, lol. Actually, I had no intentions on Partridge getting hurt and I'm focusing on his training right now trying to maximize everything before he turns 26. Ya'll can expect my Goats to be in full training swing starting next season since I've only starting learning it.

For those of you wondering about CoachParrott, I'll have to go find the link but it takes some time playing with the spreadsheet to really gain an understanding of how it works and how it can benefit you. Since this is my first experience with it, I really don't have any analysis of it but from everything I have seen and have read about it, I can say I'm stoked about it and looking forward to seeing if it can help me out in maximizing my trainee's potential.

Well, Went CT and got blitzed by Tachenko. Another fourth quarter collapse, another defest. See you in two seasons.

Will all eyes be in Charlotte this saturday?

Mina v Bumbal.

Clearly, both are amazing players averaging over 30 pts a game. Mina will be attempting to keep his team in the playoffs. Bumbal would probably like to put a positive end to what has become a disappointing season.

I was going to put Mina in at PG and have him play defense as SG but I think it will be more fun to see them dueling on both ends of the floor.
