Philippines U21 remain unbeaten in two games, routs Thailand U21, 117-74 (81901)Tehran, Iran -- Much similar to the Vietnam U21 game two weeks ago, the balanced attack carried Philippines U21 as 5 Filipino players scored in double-digits. This win gave the Filipinos a 2-0 win-loss card. They are also tied with China U21 after demolishing Hanguk U21, 100-68. Philippines U21 and China U21 are currently at the top of Pool C.

Dondon Gabuya and
Hansen Veloria, made a good account for themselves as they led the way in terms of scoring. Gabuya scored 20 points, while Veloria added 19 points. Veloria effectively knocked down 8 out of 12 field goal attempts, and 3 of 4 from beyond the rainbow country.
Shane Mempin had a field day off the bench as he collected 14 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists.
Zhong Minyuan had a strong performance in limited minutes as he recorded a 12-point, 12-rebound double-double with 3 assists and 2 steals.
Bill Guerrero chipped in 10, while
Abelardo Baluyot almost finished the game with a double-double with 9 points and 8 assists.
Pinyo Tosidaratana was the lone bright spot for Thailand U21, finishing the game with 27 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and a steal.
Sirisak Surasena was the other double-digit scorer for the Thais with 12 points. After this loss, the Thais are now 1-2 in the standings.
