Thanks for your input! I should probably have been clearer, but I'm not looking to draft anyone for my own team. Whomever I draft will be sold. And one of the teams picking before me is a bot, so that is completely random.
I have a follow-up question on your suggestion: doesn't group demo only reveal data for about 10-15 prospects? If that is the case, wouldn't I be pretty much in risk of letting a top-notch player slip?
Initially I've considered 2 strategies:

1: Doing the group demo and draft combine and from there just scout every interesting 18 yo. This does sound very ineffective though.

2: Revealing all the skills and then scout the players with high skill levels.

Does these strategies sound completely off? Sorry for all the questions, I just don't want my points to go to waste.

I would use both scouting options and scout 18 yo players. Then I would interview 5 star players and look to find 5 potential players. If you want more info about which player to choose, you can learn some skills about the drafts. Atg and HoF drafts are going for a lot of money, MVP drafts are going for much less. But you can't know their exact potential, just that they are 9-10-11 pot. If there are guard players, I would look for their inside shot and maybe inside defence. If there are big players, I would choose to learn their outside defence. Since those skills are very important for NT and they are trained slower, they make the players valuable.
