I have reached out to all of you in Nippon, as well as all the managers of players that looked like they could make the team. If you have any questions on training or what we need, don't hesitate to ask.

We are pretty thin with Bigs and our Guards could all use more OD, but we will see how the season goes. I've settled on the top 9 for the roster right now leaving plenty of room for guys to make the team with a little training and earn you merchandise.

Congratz. (43708772) this player will be a good u21 player. I can't give him training. If anyone wants to improve it for Nippon, I listed him...

Thanks for posting! I have some people that are looking for trainable Nippon players so I'll see if any of them are interested. Otherwise, I'll add him to my training plans.

If you have any young players that you are not training, I implore you to sell them. I have friends that want to train good Nippon players for U21.

I will also add that when you list players that are decent and trainable, you will make money if you don't list them for more than they are worth, especially untrained 19 year olds for more than $50k.

We started out the S40 campaign with a scrimmage win over Barbados which is ranked 61 to our 68. We posted some decent ratings and were led in scoring by Junichi Sakuma who had 30 points. Our attention now turns to Macau as we start group play. Macau defeated Malaysia today and is 1-0 in the group with Australia and Viet Nam.

Despite our starting SF being injured 3 minutes into the game, we beat Macau by 15 to start group play 1-0. Junichi Sakuma again led us in scoring with 25 points, although Dai Nozawa was close behind with 24 points and 17 rebounds. We next play Vietnam who is 2-0 in the group, so keep up the good minute management this week! We had really good GS this last week and that helped.

Another note, although it did not result in a change from our 68 ranking, our ranking points increased with the latest win from 110.9 to 117.8.

We improved to 2-0 in group play with a 113-83 win over Vietnam. We are now second in the group behind Australia with five games to go. We got balanced scoring of 19, 18, and 17 from Kuramoto, Takaoka, and Sakuma. We also double-doubles from Nozawa(14 points, 19 rebounds) and Ochida(12 points, 10 assists).

We next face Saudi Arabia who is 1-2.

Our rank has improved to 65 with a 129.0 ranking points. That is a season increase of 3 places and 18.1 points.

We defeated Saudi Arabia 134-104 to improve to 3-0 in group play. Sakuma(31), Takaoka(27), and Kuramoto(21) all scored over 20. Nozawa had yet another double-double with 16 points and 18 rebounds. The 18 y/o Inaba also scored his first U21 point late in the game!

We next play group powerhouse Australia. They can probably chalk this one up as a win so we will be more worried about point differential. At 3 wins we have essentially guaranteed ourselves advancing to the second round so going forward it will be about conserving enthusiasm and figuring out placement from our group during our final 2 games against Hanguk and Malaysia.
