First of all I would definitely do few weeks of DR for forwards, follwed by OD, till a pop and same with passing, then return to DR till you get it up to....9-11, then concentrate on OD and passing again. Some JR wouldn't hurt either, don't want the gap between JR and JS grow too large.

Conclusion, concentrate mainly on DR, followed by passing and OD and find some time to work on JR.

I would advise something much different from previous posters.

Concentrate on passing and handling and make him a PG that can score or should I say combo PG/SG. So passing to 9 and handling to 11 (that's just 5 pops until the end but it can be more). With passing and handling training he should receive enough driving training too and hopefully 2-3 pops. But let's be realistic and say 2 pops in driving.

Jump Shot: 15 Jump Range: 10
Outside Def.: 13 Handling: 9>>11
Driving: 5>>7 Passing: 6>>9
Inside Shot: 4 Inside Def.: 7
Rebounding: 2 Shot Blocking: 5

Salary around 30k.

I would say something completely different than those posted above and people might not agree but here it goes:

Sack your trainer. A superior trainer is too much for a D4 AUS team. You pay a tonne of salary to keep him and a advanced trainer will only cost you 13-15k per week as opposed to what you would be paying with the superior trainer which I guess to be at least 35k+ per week.

Furthermore the player is 22. His best training years are already behind him. Unless you have other great trainees (which you don't cause you only have 4 players on your roster), having a superior trainer is a big waste.

You will not win anything with 5 players on your roster. You are better off reducing salary of trainer and have more players on your roster.

In terms of a training plan, focus a bit more on driving and passing and he would make a great combo guard for D4.

Generally agree with what's been said above- it really all depends on what type of tactics you prefer to play.

Regardless of how you build this prospect, if you're going to have a 4-player roster, you should pick up at least 1 or 2 other players you can single-position train so that the season might not be a complete loss.

I agree with what many of said. Concentrate on passing and driving and try to make him a more balanced player would be my approach. No matter what position he plays, his passing is far too low. Balanced players give you a far better bang for your buck in this game.

Agree about the superior trainer, a bad use of money for your team right now. But don't fire him today, fire him on the weekend and then hire a new trainer (level 3 or 4) before next Friday's training. That will save you paying is salary twice when you fire him.

And he's not the ideal trainee for your situation, you should be concentrating on getting 2-3 (or even 5-6) cheaper 18-19 year olds and training them. You don't need this guy for your division. Stick to cheaper more cpst effective players and look to add guys like this as your move up divisions.

And you need to have 10+ players on your roster, not 4-5. Read the game manual about gameshape and you'll learn the reason why pretty quick.

Go buy yourself a $10k salary SF, who has lowish handling/IS, and just train the both of these guys in Driving for forwards for the rest of the year, throw in a couple of weeks of passing for the SG. ..... You need to get this guy 4-5 pops in driving before he will really start to dominate. but dont stop there, keep going, more pops in driving. more more more!

Essentially, his Marvelous JS rating is wasted without higher driving.

What not to do. Do NOT train this guy in Jump shot. if i see him get trained in JS, i will personally come over and swat you in the head. :)

and lastly, I would definately train stamina and Free Throw at least once each this year. Nothing worse than a low stamina, low FT, high JS, SG.

just train this player for 2 more season, he could easily be a star for your team for many seasons to come.

train his Driving (one on one) and get a couple more trainees go along with him, his low DR and PA should pop quite often due to elastic effect.

well basically train his DR for the rest of the season or until 9 or so, and his HN should pop without you even training it.

then proceed to train PA to 9 then get his OD to 16.

after you done all this, he should be late 23 or 24.you can continue to train his weaknesses - PA or DR or JR.

edit: do his PA first before doing his DR.
