I'm agree. I'm on the side that says the difference between Kidd and Harris (some even argue it's not an upgrade at all) doesn't nearly compensate for what they would give up in depth. If I was a Mavs fan, I'd be happy George saved my team's management from themselves.

i think that would push basketball a lot in europe. do i understand right?, a european team could win nba championship? or is it just for division title?

I wouldn't worry about that. Basketball is much more popular Worldwide than American football.

there's a small difference: in europe, nobody gives a damn about american football. :)


At one point in time, basketball was mostly a game played in YMCA's throughout the US and Canada. Eventually it became popular worldwide.

That's not to say it will happen with American football, but I'm sure the NFL thinks its can expand its interests/viewership/merchandising overseas.

true basketball is much more popular then football, the compare was just of course that nba wants to do that, i mean we have own leagues as well, i mean and i dont know nobody following MLS to give you another compare ;)

anyway i would like it, but 5 brandnew teams who and where is the other question.
