What a week! We got a glimpse of some future Nippon stars by rolling out an all-U20 team. We defeat UAE 119-112 in overtime(45590). Plenty of good performances to build on.

Today, we vaulted to the highest ranking in Nippon history! We are now ranked 25 with 244.4. The previous high rank had been 26, which was achieved three times in past including twice this season.

We fell to Peru in a scrimmage 115-92(45633). Our enthusiasm is still low(1) but it looked like a good performance. Peru has been one of the better Americas teams in recent seasons.

Yesterday the new rankings came out and we are again at our peak of 25, now with 244.7 points. This means 4 of the top 6 rankings(all 25 & 26) have come in this season alone.

We should be facing Canada in our scrimmage this week as soon as they accept the request. If you have any questions on your player's chances of making the team or what training would be optimal, please BB-Mail me anytime.

We fell in our scrimmage to Canada 114-97(45686). Our first quarter was atrocious, falling behind 35-16, but we outscored them the rest of the game. We had some good performances that will help with sorting this team out for next season. Right now, I'm trying to face teams in the top third of the world so we can have a challenging scrimmage schedule and give ourselves useful information going forward.

After back-to-back weeks at our highest ranking in history, Nippon has improved again. We are now ranked 24 with 245.2 points. Our next scrimmage should be against Srbija who is ranked 6.

We fell to #6 in the World Srbija 119-77(45744). We were only down 15 at half but a big 3rd quarter for them put the game out of reach. Playing these top tier teams is giving us a good look at what we have for the next couple seasons. We will next play Italia who is currently #4 in the world.

We fell to World #4 Italia 126-102 in the final scrimmage of Season 41. A number of players scored in double digits and Inaba was 1 point away from a double-double after grabbing 15 rebounds. This team looks ready for a solid season to continue the progress we have made the past couple!

Now everyone's attention turns to Season 42 after elections over the next week.
