Look at it this way, if you investing 20k per week. That's 280k for one, maybe two good players right? If you're a playoff team, getting a solid trainee in the second round is rare. So me, I save 280k and hope my "free" first rounder has some value. That's around 500k combined you have to spend on the exact player you want. No randomness, you can literally buy the skills you are looking for.

I bought Fennel and Law two seasons ago. Fennel was 800k and Law was 500k. I trained and sold Law midway through that season for 1.2 mil and Fennel is worth more than that now, he'll be 20 y.o. next season with an estimated salary of 12-15k.

Last season, after finishing last in DII, I was hoping for a great draft, I spent 300k on scouting and made back 294k after selling two draftees. Neither were what I wanted at all. The third was released immediately.

So you tell me, which strategy was more beneficial?

Yeah, I've gone ahead and shut my scouting department down. I think I'll just start hoping for good luck in the draft. I get good prospects in the draft, I can either sell and make a +$ to my cash flow or keep and train. I released two my picks from last season and my third pick right now is looking to be headed to the TL real soon.

me and Divine came from the same D. IV league too... I'm gonna miss him...
I've been in this league with virtually the same team, getting thrashed by bigger teams like Locomotive Atlanta, NHCr, Scrap..
what suck is that many of the winners of this league got relegated then whipped up on us smaller fry's . .

I used to kick RR's butt till one day he just got strong and thus moved on..

vets will remember drooling over a player named "Jody Ortega".. we all wished we had one..and the draft quality was wayyyyy better..

I think I came into this league at the same time he was transferred out. From everything I had read about Ortega, I was very grateful that he did not come into this league.

What team did he play for, because I would love to pull his HGS numbers and see how he fared against the competition this season. If he's everything I have read about, then he should blow most of these players out.

Well this sucks, for some reason my backup PG/SG is also my backup PF tonight. Guess setting one's lineup on a cell phone can lead to mistakes. I just hope it doesn't cost me the game.

In my game vs dragons the score at the end of the first was 30-12 and the score of the 4th qaurter only was 12-29. My starters played most of the 1st quarter, and only subs played the 4th quarter, while all of dragons starters played almost the entire 4th. This means that my starters were 1 pt differencial better against the dragons starters than the dragons starters against my subs. That it sad, dragons really need to do something about their team.

Good work goats on carmona keeping him to 19 pts, that way with barr only scoring 15pts i dont think he'll drop on the ppg list

I held my own in this. Was down 83-82 with 8 minutes left in the Fourth, then the roof fell in. Well, it looks like Div. IV for me next season.
