It has nothing to do with a german perspective on data or privacy or even with my personal view ! We would handle that when a manager out of France, Switzerland or Serbia would complain that you would share the data of his player in a forum so everyone can see them.

When this worked in your country and every one likes it this way ok. And when all the german managers who have players in the NT like to share the data and the staff has no problem with the fact that our players are in the database of a country who could be our opponent, then go for it. No complains no GM......I won't stop you then.

But I don't want to reduce the discussion on that one point and you already wrote that you would not share the data, I think there are a lot of other questions how you as a new, unknown user for most of us would handle the NT.

Would you set up a new database? Because our database (being a forum) isn‘t the best for giving everyone access...

If there is no online database already that German staff members use, then I would make one. It's basically an excel spreadsheet on Google Drive, and it's easier for both the NT manager and staff members, if everyone can work on the same file.

The ownership of the file can change, so once I make it, I would pass the ownership to one of the staff members, perhaps to a manager who is serious about running in the next term.

I can make arguments for why it can be beneficial if more users could see the database, but in the end, it shouldn't be up me to decide something like that for your community. And there's no need to rush such a decision. There's more arguments to be made on that topic, and it should be left after the elections are over.

The ownership of the file is passed on to every new NT manager in the future, so they would be in charge of the database. And once my term ends, next NT manager would remove me from the group of people who can access it.

Thanks for the answer and another question for both candidates:

tunjevina, how would you integrate Falke if you indeed win this election? Last time, Falke stepped down and supported Woodys campaign, but that‘s not the case. Knowing Falke, he probably would still have the NT at heart but I guess it would also be a hard blow to him to lose in this election. So, how would you get him (or keep him) on board? And if you lose: would you be willing to help us anyway?

I wouldn't change current staff members if they still want to be part of the team, and that goes for Falke as well. I'm hoping he would help me since he knows a lot about the current and upcoming NT players, especially their training plan.

If he were planning to run again in the next elections, I would want to share with him any decisions about the roster and the tactics that I make. And I would listen to any ideas that he may has, of course. It could benefit both of us.

In case of poor results, which imo is Germany not qualifying for the next round of the European Tournament, I would be the only one to blame, not Falke or anyone else. In case of good results, like winning a medal, it wouldn't be my success, but the success of everyone involved with the NT, starting from managers who have trained these players and maintained their game shape.

In other words, I think NT manager is the last piece of the machine. If it's a wrong piece, and it doesn't allow other pieces to function at their best, then it should be corrected. But if it's a right piece, then the entire machine should be praised, not just that one piece. Only time can tell who atm is a better piece for the German machine.

I'd be surprised if I get elected, so as for your other question, I wouldn't mind helping if I lose as well. But, I'm not sure how much of a help I can be in that case.
