LOL I don't think you need to blow up your team and with that new guy you just picked up let me just say I am very glad I played you before that acquisition. I think we unintentionally have a great rivalry and to be honest I don't know how I beat you but I think those days are very few ahead.

Oops.

Looks like I goofed and underestimated my opponent.

All the Saturday games finished with 10+ point difference except Clevland @ Flyers (89-80). Booshers defeated Tachenko with a well balanced performance. Magic got their first win of the season against Cresleys thanks to Sean Ryan's 23 pts and 19 boards. Magic signed guard Mitch Holloway during the week for 4.806.000. He's a guy with NBBA experience, and can be a nightmare on the court for the opponents. Rips lost Hawks at home and looking for a revenge on the cup.
We can all agree Illusion is getting better everyday after seeing their impressive win over Knicks (126-101) Bangers gave Goats their first defeat (99-74) Dragons replaced Smiley by signing an instant MVP candidate R. Bumbul for 5.600.000, but Gavno didn't give him a warm welcome (94-72) Investors absolutely looks like a play-off team this season. They choose to CT against Steppers and got what they wanted.(77-61)
Player of the day was David Garnier (with a name like this he could be a fashion icon) of Indiana Gavno with 25 pts (12/14 from the field) and 17 boards.
Must watch game of the Tuesday will be between Hawks and Booshers at Indianapolis. Most teams still making adjustments and some focusing on the tourney, all games will be up for grabs.

How about player of the day Justin Knowles, backup small forward for my team playing extended minutes for injured starting sf, lead my team with 30 pts, 11 boards 6 ast 2 steals 1 block and 0 turnovers (I think he played something around just 30 minutes too)

You're right. I totally overlooked him. Maybe I got carried away by Garniet's name and FG percentage. LOL

From the early going, it looks like you and I are the favorites Hawks. I'd like to just sleep for 36 hours until 8 tomorrow night. Love the analysis by the way, keep it up.

I love the analysis too!

Don't look now but I notched my first III win. Mina didn't get his usual 30+ though so now I'm confused.

Do I take the win and hurt the MVP chances of my star? Do I forsake winning to give the fans something to cheer about?

Of course, I'm kidding. Happy as can be to get a win. Was beginning to feel like I didn't belong.

Chicago Goats TIE'd the Illusion at home and came away victorious although now we've suffered our third injury to a key player. This is beginning to look bad and the team doctor is looking over his shoulder now. Our all-purpose perimeter player, Lawrence Coyle, will be sorely missed for the next two weeks. Our latest venture into playing the inside game as compared to the perimeter run-n-gun style we've grown very accustomed to since our first season back in Season 4 has proven to be fruitful although dangerous.

The unknown has shown a little glimpse into the future. The Goats first draft pick for Season 11, Kenneth Hiatt, made an unofficial debut as the starting Center when the current primary starter suffered an injury only a minute into the match. His 20 points, 13 rebounds, and 4 assists along with 1 steal and a block leave us craving more from this potential star postman. He stepped up admirably after the loss and the Goats are looking forward to more performances like this in the future. However, his shooting percentage needs to be improved as well as his knack for putting himself into foul trouble.

Not looking forward to future matches though. His performance was solid for a rookie but I'm going to need more than solid to have any chance in this league.

CHICAGO GOATS INJURY REPORT

C Vernon Partridge
***Finally had a breakout season last year playing mostly the rebounding interior defender with few opportunities to show his inside scoring touch as we let Cantrell, Lorenzo Capps, and Lowell Webber remain the primary focal point within our Run-N-Gun offense. Entered this season as the highest paid player on our team, becoming the first Goat to overtake Lorenzo Capps in that category. His size warrants a look on the inside and with the added scoring prowess of Vivencio Capelo, Bobby Dorman, and Titus Harvey, it was only natural to re-examine playing an interior offensive scheme. First game into Season 11, he injures a body part only known to the team doctor who has yet to release any medical records.

PG Clinton Cantrell
The heart of this team flows through Cantrell. He's a natural born leader and was looking forward to running the new offensive scheme and utilizing the 7'4" behemoth's inside scoring presence. Unfortunately the injury to Partridge has slowed the chemistry and to make matters worse, Cantrell would suffer an injury in only the second league game.

PG/SG/SF Lawrence Coyle
Coyle is my all-around. With his passing skills, I was really looking forward to pushing Capps to the 3-spot and capitalizing on Cantrell and Coyle's talents. The injury to Cantrell in the second game has delayed my hopes but still Coyle has stayed put at the 2-spot. Cantrell's injury has pushed in the young future star player, Teddy Titus into an immediate starting role which has not proven to be fruitful as of yet due. Chances are, with the recent spurt of injuries, Teddy Titus could see an influx in his training schedule and prosper from these injuries. However, during the game versus The Illusion, Coyle would suffer a massive injury probably due to over-extensive use of his services and will be missed for at least two weeks. Coyle's injury puts a HUGE damper on my team's offensive plans.

PF/C Vivencio Capelo
Gave me one hell of a scare tonight during the game versus The Illusion. Suffered a game-ending injury not even a full minute into the game. Of course, I was unaware the extent of the injury until after the game. Thankfully he will be able to return to the next league match but with Partridge down and the duo of Cantrell and Coyle officially shut down for a while, Capelo's numbers are sure to take a hit. If you've got him on your fantasy squad, rest assured you will get your rebounding numbers but do not be surprised when his scoring goes down.

Second week of Season 11 is almost over and the competition in DIII.4 is heating up. This was a week of firsts. Some teams enjoyed their first win and some suffered their first loss.
Hawks beat Boosher with their own game, defense: 86-74. Tachenko left a sour taste in Magics mouth with a 99-79 win. Difference maker was rebounds and steals. Cleveland crashed Rip City: 104-52. While this looks kinda embarrassing for Rip City, having to face a sharp Cleveland with some of their starters benched for the cup game is an acceptable excuse. Flyers are celebrating their first win and bells are ringing for Cresleys, but again it's too early to jump to conclusions as new teams always need time for adjustment.
Goats hand Illusion their first defeat of the season at windy city:101-90. It's scary how Goats perform despite all injuries. Goats' win helped Gavno grabbing the top seed. Indiana side passed Bangers with a comfortable win: 105-79. Investors keep on winning and Dragons keep on losing: 98-77. Dragons used just a 6 man rotation in this game. X- steppers also got their first win. Knicks made a solid start with 2-0 but now they are 2-2. Score was 101-90.
There were some extraordinary performances on Day 4 and it was hard to choose the player of the day. After careful consideration, award goes to Mico Knez of the Cleveland Crazys. 21 pts, 13 boards and more interestingly 7 dimes. You don't see big men with such a great passing ability everyday. He is averaging 5.5 apg.
Cleveland @ Tachenko and Investors @ Goats likely to be the most exciting games of Saturday. On the other hand, rumor has it some players protest the timing of the second round of tourney which will be held on new years' eve night and decline to play.

It is very hard when you have a donut offense and your top scorer is down with an injury. The reality is that I will be VERY fortunate to make the relegation playoffs. It is also a bad thing when your point can't hit the side of a barn.
