The key to our game was i put Barr defending Cantrell, which is also why titus was able to be your teams scoring leader. Also Statovci and Avalos were solid throughout the game.

Oh and i forgot to mention thank you very much for this victory because my fan survey has been on one ball for how well we played against our hated rival since the beginning of the season when we first played.

Ahh, but you see I was not a good D II team. I revamped my entire roster after losing to Rip City by two points January 9th. I have won every game since then by the way, and not the devil himself can stop me from promoting. If I don't win it all, I will be in financial trouble next season, and I'll be forced to cut salaries, which of course means a weaker team.

ahhh, well thank you, Mr. General Goodfernothin Turd.

lol, that explains a lot. Teddy Titus is still coming into his game. Probably should have gone Cantrell, Capps, Webber, Capelo, Partridge. Capelo played very well despite having to go through Statovci and Avalos. I think Partridge was just worn out from the season. I gotta work on his stamina, thus the reason I signed my new backup Center, Damon Mohr, other than the fact that Kenneth Hiatt is a HUGE work in progress and will need to take a few seasons playing scrimmages to be built up for that PF role.

I haven't checked my fan survey in a long time, mostly because it's not in a convenient location.

the only reason i have been checking my fan survey is because I need some money for this offseason to upgrade my team, and I havent exactly been filling up my stadium so i check my fan survey to see whats going on, and the 2 things hurting me are my cup run and my performance against you in our last meeting.

One very tempting way I could easily upgrade my team is by selling my 21 year old backup sf, because the transfer price estimate says he is better than the players in his talent group and they have been selling for $3,300,000. That kind of money is always tempting but theres no way i can get rid of this kid, who when ready will pair with john barr to be a powerfull duo. Look out for Justin Knowles next season because he's going to be starting, with the departure of Nicolas Briand (for salary budget issues).

Well I guess that is obvious as you were relegated (no slight intended), however in relation to most other III teams when you relegated you had a very strong team and would have a strong team in any D III division. With that being said your revamp certainly has not hurt you any. Good luck with your promotion goals!

Monday there are 2 critical games for determining the final standings in the Great 8.

X-steppers (8-11) travel to play @ Bangerz (7-12)

while

Investors (9-10) play host to the Goats (9-10)

The winner of Investors v Goats takes a big step towards securing 3rd place. Should Goats lose they stand a chance of falling from 3rd to 5th. X-steppers need this win against Bangerz in order to stave off the relegation qualifier because we just can't compete with Bangerz on the pts scored front. Bangerz needs the win just to stay in the hunt. A loss here pretty much eliminates them as X-steppers finishes the season with a likely loss to the Illusion and a probable win against the Dragons. Which doesn't give Bangerz enough time to make what would become a 2 game spread.

Bangerz vs X-steppers
He's going to have his hands full with Mina and Mays/Delarosa and he's certainly feeling the sting of losing Adrian Beavers. However, he's got a strong front court with Moya, Mark, Martin, and Gabriel. What stings even worse is that I doubt he'll ever have all four on the court at the same time since I'm pretty sure he'd rather not devote his Bigs to defending your Guards. This game along with my matchup with the Investors could seal the fate of my Goats for the rest of the season.

Goats vs Prov City Investors
This game could be the game that declares the ending of my season. A loss to the Investors puts my playoff hopes in the squarely hands of the Bangerz. At this point, making the playoffs means very little outside the small amount of money I'll receive from the home team ticket sales. The way the Gavno and Illusion are playing this season, the remaining six in the Great Eight are only playing for bragging rights. My back court is going to have a hell of a time defending the likes of Gael Carmona and Thomas Zullo. I have good confidence going into the game with my #2 defense in Points Allowed vs #3 Offense in Points Scored. We're even matched in that area so the keys to this game is that my offense will need to improve upon their #6 ranking in Points Scored and we have a good opportunity this weekend against the Investors 7th ranked defense in Points Allowed. This game has the potential to either be a blowout in the Investors favor or a tightly contested matchup in the Goats favor.

Side Note
My Chicago Goats have been in the playoffs every season since I joined at the tailend of Season 4 in League IV.1. We won the League IV.1 Championship in Season 5 after going undefeated, and since joining League III.4, we've made the playoffs every season and the Finals once, where we took the Raleigh Roughriders to three games before eventually losing the coveted Season 8 Championship trophy. Should the Goats lose this game to the Investors, we open the door for a possible absense in the playoffs, signalling the end to our non-illustrious run as a non-contendor.

I just did some research and once Junior and Divine get relegated, Bangerz will be the oldest team in the league, having played back in season 4. Which is when I started.

This league is easily the toughest DIII in USA, and I think we could rival may DIII in Spain and Italy too. I hate Italy. Damn 2006 World Cup bullshite! I'm done buying Italian players too. Everyone I get is a foul prone waste of money. So there Italy, roll that in your fancy meats.

Tuesday's games are over and each team has 3 possibly extremely competitive games left.

It's safe to say Booshes will have the homecourt after beating Hawks 100-83. Hawks struggled offensively which is rare for them and Booshes did a perfect job in the paint.

Illusion took control over their rivals Goats in the second half and looks strong in the Great 8 title race. 93-77. Point difference between Illusion and Gavno now reduced to 9.

Speaking of Gavno, Indiana side beat Bangers with an impressive 4th quarter performance lead by Garnier. 91-78.

Like last season, once again 3rd spot belongs to Cleveland. They took the job seriously against Rip City: 97-66. All Crazys on the court were like a rebounding machine. Rip City saved enthusiasm for their remaining vital games.

Magic like surprising everyone. They gave Tachenko a heartbreaking 95-96 defeat which might cost them the 3rd seed. Ketikidis was out due to knee injury but Santiago Luna stepped up and scored 33 points.

Investors beat Dragons 112-96. This is 2 in a row for them. I wonder if Investors CT'd or Dragons TIE'd and I don't see why Investors would CT or Dragons TIE. 2 Dragons (Bumbul- Braden) recorded 2/3 of team points.

One of the greatest games of the day was Cresleys @ Flyers. Result was a wasted opportunity for Cresleys: 101-96. Flyers are now much more optimistic about playoff contention.

Steppers pulled a comfortable win against Knicks and took a big step for playoff race. 71-57.

Player of the day was VirgĂlio Ericeira of the Investors. 17 pts, 14 rbds, 6 asts, 4 blks in 31 mins are really impressive stats.

Plenty of important games this weekend including Magic @ Rip City, Tachenko @ Cleveland, Goats@ Investors and Steppers @ Bangers. These 4 can determine the destiny of the league.
