Forgive my fellow Americans, we’ve built up a formidable wall of patriotism and pride — I’m afraid it’s natural human inclination. As a foreigner, your biggest battle in your bid for USNT manager is infiltrating this wall of pride. People tend to reject change. For some, seeing a foreigner in a leadership position could serve to be a tough pill of humility to swallow.

In regards to ego, I do sense a strong confidence and pride with you. That’s not necesarily a bad thing. I admire your ambition. The greatest competitors such as Micheal Jordan and even Kobe Bryant had some of the biggest egos of all. I have a great respect for your B3 pedigree; I understand what it takes to compete at the B3 level and I believe this aspect in particular is what the USNT has lacked in recent seasons. Unlike some, I actually have faith in your scouting abilities: I feel you would have a keen eye for top talent and be able to understand the type of players needed in specific offense’s in order to succeed at the highest level.

With that said, again, there is the pride thing. Will Americans accept a foreign leader? That’s to be determined. However, out of all the candidates, I have the most faith in your managerial and scouting abilities. I trust you understand the type of players and tactic’s needed to win championships at any level. I have no doubt in your abilities and would gladly accept you into our community as USNT manager.

Whatever the outcome, just remember, it is nothing against you as a person — I’d chug down a few Jägerbombs with you.

Greetings, everyone. It's been a while since I've spent a lot of time on BB. But back in the day, I was a regular offsite contributor and dedicated enough to build the training simulator. Anyhow, my two cents:

I think it's the community's responsibility to train the players that can give us a shot... regardless. That's not something you have to be manager to do or be a part of. What our NT needs from a manager is a proven tactician who knows what it takes to win games at the highest level. Ultimately, what will motivate managers to train and maintain our player base is knowing that their efforts have the best chance at success. And I think we'd be short-sightedly chauvinistic as a community to pass by the chance of having Sahand as our manager.

All that said, I don't think he's a bad guy. And even if I didn't like him, I don't want a manager to be my friend. I want a manager who will win.

Truly wonderful to see you back in the fold.

Though I disagree that we have to use someone who has won on the highest level. Making it to the top of the mountain is just as much economic acumen. But for the NT that part of the equation is moot. As others have pointed out Tehran has had a lot easier road thanks to being from a micro. What we need right now is someone who knows how to work with smoke and mirrors, who will put out a team and put together a plan that will allow the talent on hand to exceed expectations. This is why I personally seek the appointment. My teams are never the most talented but they do compete and my teams are ones for which the opponent better pack a lunch because even if you beat me it will not come easy on most nights. I will be the guy who will give us the opportunity to compete night in and night out. I will also be the guy who will use the knowledge of the community to figure out the best plan of action. Lastly I will be the guy who will work on a league by league basis to bring users both new and old into the fold so that we build for the future. It is not about regurgitating some political slogan to make America great again it is about making buzzer beater fun again.

I have question that will de rail most of the people in the speech area that 1.) doesn't give a flying flick about the national teams 2.) One of the guys is going everywhere and doesn't know how to stop and write down a plan. When he just told me he wanted a back to back leap frog a league championships. The only plan is to learn the league, and network so every1 knows you...


The question is... I want the best for the USA teams National teams and Under 21 teams. We didn't get that with Jkal and I believe the first season in "40 seasons" We get we are allowing users to remove unpopular users because of the results of the election with Captin-Teemo running as a foreigner in a nationalist "non political" climate.

We barley have any good call ups with under 21 that will make the national team... I lmfao the only 2 people who can run the national team is Dwight Coward and Saharan... What a poor class structure just follow the rules you ought to know how to make a national team by now...

How are we going to fix the disconnect between onsite, offsite, and forum users to the point where we can all get a long together and run our team for the best manager available??? How are you going to determine what treasure map we are going to set for Gold pieces instead of Sliver and Bronzes???

The reason for the disconnect between the community as a whole and the discord/off-site faction is because the off-site crew keeps to itself and quite simply is not promoting the NT to the community at large. I will change that, member by member if need be. Though I think going league to league will do wonders. You make it sound as if we do not get along, I think nothing is further from the truth.

In terms of setting the table so that we are eating with gold utensils as opposed to the plastic sporks of last season the hard truth is that the rotation will need to be shorted. Yes we have enough talent on hand to go 12 deep every game, but a solid 8-9 man rotation is what will allow the optimum results.

And of course there is always the issue with a steadily declining user base, if you give me the keys I will commit to a grassroots campaign of finding new members. For that matter I will do that even if my candidacy fails. And this is something that we all need to do for the good of our game. I know many of us have talked friends into coming on board, now we need to attract strangers. And we will have to do this ourselves because BB management is only able to do so much and at the end of the day the best form of advertising is still word of mouth.

I feel your a close 2nd to Dwight Coward on my standards I love your effort in speech but will you deliver if you win??? Yes there is a major disagreement in the rifle between on site and off site people. I heard off site is dead now... Dwight Coward has already proven he can lead a national team you don't remember??? He was very competitive with his teams and is something we are missing now with people taking the easy way out.

I don’t truly believe the “disconnect” between onsite and offsite will ever be truly co-existent though I do think it has the chance to dramatically improve. Some people just aren’t interested and you really can’t fault them or do much about it. I do believe reaching out to more and more users and gettingthem involved with the NT whether that be training or being apart of the staff would be a positive result.

I also don’t necessarily agree with the fact that we don’t have much youth developing for the NT as I know plenty of users with HOF+ potential who have been on the training plans for the National team. A lot of these players don’t make the U21 team simply because there training plans don’t always coordinate with the U21 team.

However setting a lineup is not the only job that the NT manager has which is pretty much the only thing you need to do for your club team

I may. (Other than a couple of old league rivals who have run in the past, I generally don't vote frequently). I just think the whole "you wouldn’t have made it out of “D5” in my country" argument is exceedingly hollow when you're discussing candidacy for a job that' much more closely parallels the B3 experience than the D5 experience, and doubly so considering what kind of talent it takes to win the former and the exceptional lack of talent that would make it possible to fail at getting out of D5 when that was an option.

Are you sure that's not a minor issue for some1 whose been their???
