I personally believe that LI can be stopped with high ID and (surprise) shot blocking. The last doesn't really block the shots (which makes us this it's a useless expensive skill) but makes a shot go bad.

Look at match ratings of all BBB games which took place last Wednesday. Compare Inside Scoring and Inside Defense and you will see for yourself that your sarcastic comment is actually a sad truth. Nobody can afford having great defensive inside players because they are already maxed out at RB and IS spot.

You are basing your theory on a sample size that is too small. 10-15 teams in BBB is not the same as 50k. I am certain some of those 15 teams' managers are thinking about how to beat LI, but it's not a one-season process. When LI gets beaten on constant basis by few top teams, then we will see the change. But I don't think it will happen in next 3-4 seasons.

there is also a difference in salary structure for BB teams, since playing salary efficient isn't so high on the priority list for the most teams in the knockout stage.

I would say, that star guards and just solid big are the cheaper combination at club level and playing motion isn't that hard or worse i think.

True. Low ID compared to IS and low offensive flow compared to OD are two conditions where Look inside can thrive. I'm waiting for someone who will build a team which can smack down all traditional Look inside teams. Maybe then people won't blame GE anymore.
